Greetings Capsuleers,
I have grown deeply concerned at the level of conflict growing amongst the Tribal Liberation Force. It would appear that TLF loyalists of distinction in their own endeavours have managed to find cause to create a level of conflict that puts the fight against the Amarr Empire under serious risk.
I would like to remind capsuleers loyal to the TLF that it was not so long ago that the whole of the warzone flew the Amarr flag. I urge all those involved who remember those dark times to remember the grim determination we had to destroy our old foes, when internal conflict was not an option and each pilot, corporation, alliance and coalition was valued for whatever it could contribute to the cause.
As an ex-TLF pilot who remembers those times I urge those in positions of influence and leadership in the modern militia to find common ground no matter how small and try to lay the foundations for stopping the slavers from pushing the borders of the Empire back to our door step. If you must disagree please do not do so over un-encrypted channels, you only harm the militias professional image and make recruitment of future freedom fighters harder.
As you well know the Rebublic will not help you out there. Every opportunity squandered means more Minmatar who have recently tasted freedom having to choose to flee the 24th Crusade and lose their homes or perhaps keep their homes and re-attach the shackles they have learnt to live without. I dread to think what methods of 're-education' the Empire would deploy on those unfortunates.
Whilst the bright light of a liberated warzone recedes into the distance try not to let your disappointment turn you against each other. There will always be another opportunity and as immortals you can afford to be patient.

You seem to think warzone control has even the slightest impact planetside. That's sort of cute and all, but don't let the proxy wars deceive you into thinking they are anything but a distraction that can be used by the cunning to provide inspiration and symbolism elsewhere, no more.
Besides, this particular fire needs to just burn out. It's a contest between hard-headed egomaniacs and overly "pragmatic" bloodthirsty warmongers, neither of which have anything but disgust for the other. Frankly, it doesn't much matter to me which of the two come out on top, as neither side have even the slightest or most tenuous loyalty to any of the ideals or strengths of the Tribes in the first place. Six up and half a dozen down, whichever way it goes.
I don't think I could be more pleased with being "irrelevant" at this point, just being able to sit back and watch, as we do our own thing without getting involved with either of the two blocs. One side dancing to Dead Terrorists' tune, the other holding their noses up at such unsavory association while cuddling up to blooder and EoM psychopaths while sticking their fingers in their ears and humming real loud.
No loss, whichever takes the brunt of this conflict. |

Admirable effort, but ultimately pointless Ms. Vess. I am certain you have browsed these channels long enough to understand that Ms. Kim's sentiments are solely her own and not reflective of majority State opinion. |

The State embraces the concept of charitable donation.

This happened also seven years ago, when peoples like Mizhara attacked CONCORD and Empire, they saw us enemies where there were none.
I don't think anyone of us ever wanted anything bad for any of them, they lived their lives, we lived ours. But no, they needed someone to attack. Looks like they weren't satiated with their aggression against us and now it's your turn.

The combat records speak for themselves. Your pet psychopaths are quite demonstrably the enemy, when they slaughter non-combatants in Tribe space, as well as other TLF combatants. This is quite simply not disputable. When this changes, and a quick glance at the public records show that it hasn't, then there'd be room for... 'interpretation', as it were.
I don't care who you shoot outside Tribal space, but you can't just expect me to ignore it when your pilots actively slaughter my people in my people's space. |

I believe that under State tax law, one third of the fair market value of the charitable donation may be deducted from investment gains, so long as the gain is not converted into a loss and no more than half of the gain in any year is offset, carrying forward any unused fair market value for use against future investment gains, subject to the same limitations as the present year, up to five years from the year in which the charitable donation was realized.
Per Valerie's remarkable treatise on surviving in the jungle, it is possible to sell the fair market value of your charitable donation to a third party at a discount on the expected deferment of investment gain, allowing the third party to realize the spread between the discount and the deduction - said spread being recognized as income in each year for which some of the acquired charitable donation is used to offset investment gains - subject to the same limitations which might apply should you choose to offset your own gains.
Several Caldari mega-corporations provide charitable donation bundling services, allowing investors expecting to realize significant gains to acquire packages of charitable donations that might be used to reduce tax exposure.
A few Caldari hedge managers offer charitable donation derivative indexes tied to the performance of investment companies that acquire packaged donations, permitting wealthy clients to either realize gains or loses on the portfolio in accordance with their tactical needs at the time of realization.
However, I do not recommend doing business with Caldari hedge funds. Their profitability tends to be inflated by excessive fee structures and predatory advice given to selected clients. |

In fairness, there are a few really expensive things we did use. Not all the time, of course, and a lot of it was where they filled a unique role. Usually we didn't take those far from home.
Too much obvious power on the field scares people away. That wasn't what we wanted. |

She did bring large forces out sometimes, I think, when she could get the numbers. Too many to engage, at least a couple of times, but they seemed to get bored pretty fast.

Better places to be, bigger people to hit, no use killing a bunch of people when they have already submitted to their fate. Might as well go pick on the rancer folks next door.
