Yay an actual non hypothetical person thats on the other side of the debate! and as I reread what was written there.... it DOES look like tghat one guy was farming just as bad as the farers themselves.... nice job hypocrate lol

See the real, significant problem here, is that, to remove a way for farers to.... farm, thay have given the hives essentially, to the hivers that get to the hive first.
"So set up a caop mission there" was one response I heard... how can you do than and ensure that noone beats you there first? Also, CCP has effectively made it so the US dont have access to Hives at all unless they play into the wee hours of the morning. Here, in the Eastern Time Zone of the US & Canada, have downtime at around 6 am... I Work and am unable to play until this time so the new change has made it so I at least can never run Hives and expect it to drop snything.
In their attempt to take something away from tyhe farmers, they have in facty taken something away from the rest of us and given it to anyone that can camp the gate long enough so that they are there right after DT.

If this topic had a better name, i would have seen it sooner.
My corp was sharing a 5/10 rogue drone with some russians for the last year and have stuck with it through the thick and thing. In the past we've seen a good few nerfs to it, but none like the current one. It was pretty bad that the minerals dropped lost all their value once the rogue drone regions started dropping minerals like no tomorrow.
It really is just one... maybe two runs a day off it.
Seems the only way to make money is to sit in the 7th level all day collecting minerals... which isnt really what plexes are for i thought. It just simple an ammo waste now... and after just running off a pack of asian macro's with the help of the early bird russians, i feel cheated. The new 0.0 is good and all... but its no good old reliable to plex to go run when your pvp ships go boom.
I do know it was spawning way to fast for about the last 3 months, some people had been making 250 mil solo camping the easily expoited 5th... but with that overseer removed i dont see why they had to completly nerf the rest.

Great, now I can't make money in character when I lose ships out in low sec. In character? That means no mining (PvP character) and no switching to alts. So much for a rich experience, more like losing a ship, waiting a day, making a little ISK, waiting a day, making a little ISK, waiting a day ...

An idea:
Why not make it so the stage you are currently in NEVER has a chance to respawn while a player is in it - this solves the issue of just sitting in a stage farming minerals and effects - it makes you warp out and start all over again if you want to do anything. Couple problems of course that would have to be worked out regarding this - preventing somebody from waiting in stage exact amount of time until the respawn was scheduled to take place, which could be fixed by making the respawn time based on when the last person left the stage. This of course risks some jerk sitting in a stage all day afk, so maybe another solution is just make some way that forces a person out of a stage of a complex after some reasonable amount of time.

the 5\10 plex hit has affected lowsec harshly. non-0.0 inhabitants suffer a great loss in income. the 5\10 i had around used to nourish many corps, aswell as provide some people with GTC money. since then ive seen many people quit the game, iether out of disperation, loss of isk, or not being able to afford GTCs.
sure going to 0.0 wouldve been helpful. i did it personally. but its not easy. i spend most of my time in a covops, and got nearly killed many, many times. so 0.0 isnt easy for small corps that have alot of low sp people in them.
i think that nerfing the 5\10 is a huge error that CCP needs to re-think. missions are by no means anywhere near the profitablity of the 5\10s hive plexes. ive actually lost 2 ravens due to lagging out. damn huge npc + clouds cluster****s 
CCP, many of us still urge you, reconsider the nerf.

I feel really let down and sad about this.. I really wanted to make it to the mothership but I guess now I have to let it fester in my mind and drive me totaly crazy to the point of no return. All becuase I want to destroy the mothership....please ccp...you're our only hope.
