Quote: EV can hardly be found anywhere in Stain. We know, we are scouting far and wide looking for you. The main time we see EV members are when they are huddled with other SA corps that we are not actively engaging, but even that is rare these days.
C4 dominates about 75% of the day/night hours actively hunting any who have initiated hostilities. Of course when there's no enemies around to hunt we go about our business as usual. I grant you that about 25% of the time JOINT SA forces have tactical control but nobody claimed that C4 would immediately control 24/7. In fact I clearly stated that control would be back and forth.
SA prefers to line up all the soldiers in two opposing lines with muskets firing. Sorry if we don't fight that way against an opponent that has more assets at their disposal. There's a reason no other corp has been able to combat the SA... tactics.
We were betrayed and attacked. We will not roll over and we will give those that attack us the fight of their corps lives. We will hit them when they least expect it, vanishing as quickly as we appeared. We will deny them the peace that they threw away when they started this war.
i was in stain last week until just before that patch and saw a single oc pilot, in khanid, funnily enough.
anyway now that you have have attacked one of us im sure your corpses will be joining the hundreds of our other enemies corpses in our corp freezer.
1-0 to you.

Lol, seriously, when did you start doing this? Yesterday was the first time I saw one of your battlefleets past RPS. (I want to emphasize FLEET, not 1 or 2 guys ussually in blackbirds wandering around)
Since when does it take a fleet to scout out Stain? We roam stain nearly as freely as ever and have encountered many of the SA corps ops, but not EV. We could have raided these same corps but chose not to do so since they had not violated our border or attacked us.

Hmm, correction... YOU attacked us. I undocked from a station at the exact same time as Shrike. I asked Shrike what his intent was in OC territory. He proceeded to lock me and fire on me with his Apoc, I then target jammed him and waited a good 10 seconds for a reply. He started launching fofs and then I said ***k it and I proceeded to hand him his own ass on a plater. A corpmate of mine, Vlandarr jumped in when Shrike was about 40-50% hull and helped me finish him off. Shrike got away in his pod, but docked and came back in a n00b ship to try and get his loot back, lol. He was ended.
I gave Shrike all the time in the world to reply to my challenge, even gave him time after he fired on me...aren't I a good sport? Your CEO has good people skills no doubt.
Just want to set history straight for future reference, as I think this is the first contact OC and Evol have had.

Edited by: Domon on 17/12/2003 04:17:07 No, there were Evol present when they were trying to camp a station a few days back. I forget who it was, but I was not able to kill him solo, or with others present. (BTW, I have a full report of that incident earlier in another thread:http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=46105&page=6)
I don't know why, but my modules kept shutting off by themselves... Is there a module that will turn off some of, but not all of another ships modules so that you have to restart them? If there is, I'm not aware of it.
Either way, you didn't have first contact and I don't think my contact was the first either.

Of course technicaly after this patch there is no longer any reason to want to remove systems from Omega for ore purposes. From here on out actions taken against them just prove that it wasn't about resources in the first place. :) ------------------

Since yesterday I think that the NPC Rats have gotten more kills than either Omega or Stain in the past week :(
I hear that ccp has not yet completed their "fix" of ore redistribution...but not shure where I had heard this so can not confirm it's accuracy.

I think people underestimate how much public opinion matters in this game but Omega corp sure got it down there.

Don't get us wrong guys, just because we landed the first kill by no means makes us over confidence. Sure it's nice to net the first one but i am 110% sure that Omega does not underestimate Evolution.
I know how diciplined and good you guys are when it comes to fighting, thus i eagerly await the enagements between the two corporations as during my time in Omega i can significantly clarify that Omega share these two traits also when it comes to combat.
Interesting and most importantly fun times await us both i am sure.

The issue I am curious about is what is the Stain Alliance. There seem to be 3 blocs.
EV and for some reason Evolution, Omega Corp and their claim to some part of the territory of Stain and MASS and the rest of Stain that are remaining neutral in this internal issue.
The only aggression to neutrals in the Catch region is from EV and evolution. For evolution its policy of clearing a warzone, for EV is blantant ignorance of pacts. Curse, for all the evil they have done in the past, have not be hitting neutral indies in catch (MOO have in CFS space but they supposedly left CA). Omega Corp and MASS and allies have been very honourable with their agreements.
Furthermore, EV gets caught up in serious charges of planning to aid pirates to attack internal members in Stain in the past. What an ally! All this is public knowledge.
So my question is why would Evolution team up with these types of people to attack Omega Corp?

This is the second time in this thread that you didn't have your facts straight. Yes shrike in the end was finished by 2 OC members, but shrike's apoc was alone vs one omega scorp for about 5 minutes... after that point she/he was down to 50 % armor i believe when Vlandarr jumped in the system, grabbed a Raven and helped out in ending the fight.

50% hull.. , and since he was a shield tank, if you can even call it that, the fight was pretty much sealed. I thought the CEO of a huge pvp corp was supposed to be actually good, or have a sense when to fight. Obviously firing on a scorp from 200 metres away with tachyons was his idea of a tactically sound start to the battle heh.

Everyone's in empire for the time being. There's really no point even BEING in Stain until things get fixed (ie, roids and NPCs).

A LOT of people are in Empire not because of the pirates. They want blueprints and skillpacks. And thats where they are.
