Elindreal Republic Military School Minmatar Republic 35	Posted - 2011.12.16 03:03:00 - [10] - Quote from what i understand gate activation (from warzone to faction specific pocket) is the trigger for the spawn. the trigger chance is random however thus if you want to guarantee a spawn the best way is to have an alt in a fast frig mwd from warp-in and keep activating the gate while your main toon waits inside the 2nd pocket. eventually the overseer will spawn. but at that point it could be the worthless 500k overseer.

Absolutely true. The longest it's taken me in a fast frig (I was bored...) was 21 round trips from gate to 1st pocket, off to nearest planet, back to gate... But the Overseers WILL spawn eventually.

I can tell you that in HS missions it is not profitable to wait for him. Close the mission and go on to the next. The probability of a good overseer spawn is really low. I have received 3 faction drops in my many missions (and many more useless overseers (500k ish), 2 in WC and one in Blockade. And none of them would have been worth waiting for.
