Out of sheer curiousity, what is the largest amount of ISK held by a character in EVE? I only ask the amount, and not the name, because we all know that if they post a name, he'll/she'll be eve-mail bombed by moochers...

Highest amount is over a trillion isk.
Whether it's all in said wallet or mostly in assets I'm not sure.
The guy behind the EIB scam has very close to a trillion ISK as well.

From what I've seen, you either scam your way through the billions or rely on the fact you've been here since the start and have all the T2 BPOs and stuff. The rest of us grind away happily.

EIB scam was less than 100b, likely less than 50b.
He got banned anyways for trying to ebay his character.

i am nowhere near the top of the list but i have over 50 billion currently in my wallet and only about 3 billion in assets at the moment but have to restock up ships only have 1 bs and a inty to my name, i have stuck to a motto of never spending more on fitting than the cost of the ship in the first place. i have managed this without a tech 2 BPO.
there are corps that hold over 150 tech 2 bpo's that prob have one character sitting with all the isk made from the corp they are the people with the most isk

I'd say I've got from 5mil to 250mil from trading in the past fortnight. That's pretty rough and there is some mining and a gift in there. Well anyway if you trade I think the sky's the limit. Seems that way to me anyway. Bah, Tech 2 BPOs, bah. But I'm just a noob  . I should mention some days I've been pretty thorough. I.e. micro managing orders, as soon as I get some new money I reinvest and I put items on the market asap. not sure how long I can keep this pace up  . Pretty off topic sorry  .
As for the richest player, I heard there are some around the trillion mark. that actually wouldn't surprise me. In fact may be some in this thread are around the mark, but perhaps they don't want us to know  . Conjecture FTW.

Rast lied about the amount he scammed, and was called on it numerous times. The biggest scam in the EIB scenario was the number of people that believed he stole so much more than he did.
I would imagine that the largest amount of ISK in any wallet is going to be the wallet of someone who has dozens of T2 bpos, since in an alliance, most funds would be spent almost constantly on BPOs, materials, mercs, whatever. Sure having 100billion ISK in a wallet may be fun to look at, but tbh, I'd rather buy 100bil worth of BPOs with it, and never worry about ISK every again, as some people in EVE do, flying and losing capital ships and suffering as much of a setback as a 3 year vet would suffer when they lose a t1 fitted cruiser.

go ask plex farmers how much they make per day. I've heard a good 5/10 will bring in 200-400 mil per day. So imagine what a 10/10 must be like.

1bil is the most I've ever had, and that lasted me roughly 10mins until i was broke again.
average wallet size is around 10-50mil
