I was testing out a long trip to 0.0 space. There seems to be a conflict with auto-pilot and the stargate's warp disruptor. Sometimes when I jump to a new system(mostly 0.0 space with the Gallente stargates) I end up less then 20 km away from it. This prevents the auto-pilot from engaging a warp. Please address this fix in the next patch.

I just been autopiloting, and have had no problems with the autopilot. It's a bit inconsistent with the distruptor range of stargates.

Has not been like that for me, I alway get dropped 12 km from the gate when jumping, everytime.
Then I have to turn off AP , move 8 km to turn it back on so I can warp.
It has been the same for all gates in areas that are disrupted.

Have you tried this out in 0.0 space? I'm fine until I reached 0.0 space. I end up 12 km away from the gate, the ship remains stopped indefinately. It doesn't start moving away from the gate.
I repeated this about 10 times. Sure enough, the same thing happened everytime.

yep, but heres the problem.
now moment autopilot kicks in you uncloak and get crushed by anyone there as no invul time. so Auto pilot having use in the live servers? only in empire. InfiniCorp, Lunatic at Arms

Autopilot doesn't work for me as well, it just sits after jumping
... you will see more and more marketing which in turn will bring you more players to torture. |

Its a know issue since the introduction of the warp disruptors, aparently its being worked on, adn will move your ship diretcly away form the gate to the closest point out of the warp disruptor range, so you are free to warp. In some cases this may mean that u actually then align and warp thru the disruptor field, which will of course make absolutely no sence either, but they don't seem to care about this.
Aparently the disruptors won't appear on empire based gates, in a sort of, these gates were enhanced and their weird fields aligned and thus can work properly way, but we dont do gates outside our own empire stylee.
Aparently deep space autopilot will be fixed soon. Also hopefully tested prior to mondays castor patch going live on TQ.

I hope so, it would bode badly if players have to deal with that on top of the current speed nerf
