Giant spot of ships destroyed in the last hour on Fatal's system just showed up....
Fatal Killboard is showing Katet, Tnt, Xpact...
Has the siege begun? Is tsds actually not involved or is this a Timezone thing for them?

It's not terribly difficult to look at Fatal's killboard on griefwatch and blackreign's webpage.
From the looks of it 4 alliances plus two former ASCN corps joined in to attack Fatal and brought 2:1 odds. But despite that Gunship and his boys gave them a good drubbing

Its more like 3:1 odds in terms of battleships, but yea the fight is actually even.
Ka-tet/X-pact/TNT/Invictus/Rule of Three jumped in and took a bit of a beating on the jump in (as expected), however with their numbers i dont think they'll be too worried.
The skirmishes since have been more even. Should be interesting.

A most ejoyable and smack free night. been my first taste of pvp in 7 months and i enjoyed every second of it...well apart from the lag, but c'est la vie.
and as for the amount of alliances involved. there are 2 explenations for that
1) as said it was a counter for any aid FATAL may of gotten
2) a wise man once said "Victory comes while the sword is still in the scabard" im sure you can work it out from there.
But i look forward to more fun fights over the coming days..just hope that a miracle happens and the lag improves.

Till now, we had some great runs against FATAL. So we don`t need a new post from you (the OP) to portray their desperate situation, where is no such situation.
All this is just returning a visit: They visit us, we visit them... You`ll see tomorrow they`ll pay back the visit, buy as a few roses and a dinner.
It`s called flirting.
And, dude. Hope this thread does not turn like the other one, where you mentioned Ka-Tet/X-Pact/Etc in the title, yet all you did was diss TSDS. And when asked why you mentioned X-Pact/Ka-Tet, you (or someone from that RM corp) said you did not! (all this, still not changing the title)
And we should hold our posts till we know for sure you speak for FATAL. Next time, I wil try to be on a FATAL fight, had no chance so far.

Apart from the HORRENDOUS lag during the first fight at the POS it's been a lot of fun. My Huginn managed to ignore me for 4 mins 32 seconds while it just flew in a straight line until it was pwnd by POS guns. At least I think that's what happened, I got a death mail and about 3 minutes later I was at a planet in my pod 
But I'm back with a new ship now, let the fun continue =D

I didn't even get a shot off on the first two warp ins. Arrive out of warp. Target, roll the weapons. Nothing activates.
That was at the gate, not even at the POS.

The first two warps you did to our fleet, we had 150+ BS's sat around, your load time must have been nasty, took me a while to get a lock and that was around 2 mins after you had arrived in most cases.

I always lol at the "4 alliances vs 1 corp type comments". Having been in ASCN it makes a change from OMG 4000 ppl in your alliance type nonsense.
I think we outnumbered FATAL in local 170 to 109 at the start.
We did very well to start off with, then as the night moved on we lost a dread at the POS primarily to fighters (I think FATAL had 10 carriers in local) and the lag was so bad he was dead before we could load 
Then we lost a couple of BS to the POS having to rescue other capitals getting into difficulty there (still dont understand wtf a carrier was doing there but anyway) but that is always going to be the case when assaulting an armed POS with lots of carrier support.
All in all, good fun tonight and looking forward to more of the same.
@Happydayz, trust a corp to post all its kills, not all its losses before drawing too many conclusions

I think Fatal is on there own on this one . They may have big friends but they would have had to mobilized now and get down there to do any good. prob may see a few roaming gangs but nothing super large

i always laugh when people spew the "OMG YOU FIGHT UNFAIR X ALLIANCES AGAINST ONE" need i remind people of
1. southern coalition (lv,v,kos,ucc,mwa..kitchen sink) vs RA
2.Bob/ascn/ various others vs trust
3.iss/fix/mc/lv vs IAC
4. iac/d2/aaa/various others vs iss
5. the bandwagon(bob,fix,mc,tribal souls,euxo mortis,mgrl:P with several others declaring sa kos in their space) vs SA
6. CODA (sa,imp,vc,hf and i lost track) vs fix
these are just the major ones of the top of my head. So its nothing new and in fact has been done by several of the people critisising it here.In fatals place i would take it as a compliment. From what i saw last night they are indeed worthy foes

yes ym- was the pvp hotspot of eve last night, and if i ahve anything to do with it, it will continue to be for the forseeable future
some of us have had a few beers with the ka-tet boys at fanfest, and looked forward to fighting in curse, the locations changed but the respect hasnt

The fight is a blast and we're having a ball. I'm personally v impressed by the fight we're putting out and am enjoying every second of it. The skirmish fighting is equally as exciting as the blob fighting as excellent tactics are being applied by both sides. No smack or crap like that i've witnessed so far in the fight which is a testament to both sides maturity and professionalism and makes it all the more enjoyable.

All in all turning out to be a good fight, yes we are outnumbered but as many of our previous enemies have found out this is not something that scares FATAL easily .
Both sides atm are putting up a good solid fight and I expect that this will continue for the forseeable future. Kudos to all involved.

Probably a bit premature to make a judgement on who gave who a drubbing, I know I've not posted my killmails yet, hopefully all sides will enable the feeds so that the kills can propogate out and we'll see who has killed more. I do believe my side has killed way more, but it's not really very easy to tell. The important thing though is what happens to the station at the end of it, no matter who wins on kills the winner will be the one with the station.

Well, you know how we roll. Glad to see FATAL is on the same page as us, as far as being unafraid to engage and mature enough to fight honorably...but then again, I never expected otherwise. When AWM was with KOS, the FATAL guys I never had a problem with. It was the rest of LV that were douche bags.

Its been tough battle so far both sides fighting hard but fair, respect for ka-tet and friends they fight well and are not afraid to engage.
They outnumber us approx 2 to 1 maybe slightly more but then thats understandable when attacking you need to outnumber the defenders to stand much of a chance. The fighting has been smak free and this thread has been for the most respectful from both sides, some people inevitably feel the need to show the size of their ****s and i will slap any of fatal that do so as their is just no need they might as well go play wow or something tbh.
Anyway pos's are going into reinforced slowly but ka-tet and friends are having to pay for it, as we are out numbered we have to hit hard and fast to any weakness shown and we do our best to do so. Respect for the enemy they bring it and keep fighting hard, respect to my fellow fatal pilots they show determination and fight back with zeal.
This is the best fun i have had in eve in over a year good old fashioned fleet battles this is why i play eve it rocks

Havnt perosnally been able to get on much but for the short peroid i have its all been smack free and fun fights :) As for the loses on kbs as well as kills, i think some of our command will be hounding the various kbs getting folks lose mails up if they choose not to post them.. grr, Your onyl lieing to yourself folks by not posting them.

I spiced it up a bit in Photoshop ;)
It should look something like that ingame soon though, it's just a gaussian blurred layer set to Lighten so it's a lot like the lighting effects in the new engine.

Yes apparently I warped to a POS, apparently i bounced around there a bit and apparently I got killed, however according to my screen I am sat on my own at a planet the entire time.

I dont care about the ship loss as it will get replaced on petition, but I do care that I travelled 23 odd jumps to Reisen earlier then 30+ jumps from there to YM- this evening, I then get to sit on a gate for 5 minutes before warping to assist a dread, not loading and then dying and ending back in Agil.
Can I petition CCP for my 1+ hour travelling time please.

No I warped to the Dread as soon as fighters engaged it, I was there for a good 5+ minutes before the titan fired and I never loaded or saw a thing the entire time.

I was lagging so bad I couldn't warp in. Then I finally warped like a minute or two after the DD went off. But then my screen wouldn't load and when it refreshed, I was in my pod, heh.
GF though... at least before all the lag.

TBH can't see how you can petition against a loss caused by a titans superweapon. Lag or no lag you still would have lost your ship in that situation. Also the firing of the weapon causes most of the lag, so the lag occurs after its already fired.

No because if u see the cyno then you have a chance if aligned to warp out before it goes off - ask BoB they avoided ours lots of times.

Like was said, the cyno went up at least 1 minute before the superweapon hit, lots of people hit warp as soon as it did but ofc most people's modules hadn't even turned on by then, and it was 4 minutes after we warped in.
Kudos to Chow for the good strike, but it wouldn't have been nearly as effective if people actually had control of their ships at any point in the 5 mins leading up to it.
I got some funny fraps of the event, can't see the superweapon hit though. Just everything lagged out, the screen freezes for 10 seconds, and suddenly there's wrecks everywhere

I don't know why you guys are complaining about the lag. If anyone should be complaining about the lag it should be us. Our killboard is a lag fest right now. Took me 20 mins just to post a Goon kill. But then again, I've never seen so many hostile Battleship losses in one engagement. Pop Raven, Poof Apoc, Kaboom Tempest, etc etc. so I guest you guys have to vent somewhat.

I can only speak of my own point of view but i found the lag bad, but very fightable in. And likewise to the opposition as many times when i was tackling, i found myself locked and attacked continually (poor poor moa tried taking me at point blank then i owned him ). My modules activated fine, your guys modules must've operated too. I found the fight very enjoyable and the challenge was excellent. Please bring more on as i still believe you guys are worthy opponents.
btw, A grade on style points for LV titan team who shouted "T H E K E Y" on local when the titan came into play

Chow's intention was not to screw up a good fight. Chowdown just wanted to help FATAL.
Anyways, I really don't understand the point of 3 (or 4) alliances ganging up on 1 corp (emphasis on the 1 corp). You guys could be doing your thing in the new regions and once in a while shoot at each other without having to worry about POS warfare but instead you decide to complicate things. I am not dissing any of the alliances that are attacking FATAL nor am I trying to save FATAL. More power to you guys if you succeed and the same goes for FATAL.

Maybe it was last night when a few of our pilots passed through providence collecting some stuff and happened to popa couple of you, as usaul you sent the blob of 5-1 odds and didnt manage to trap us.
We have a private killboard for our corp members reference only ( dues to bandwidth problems if too many people view it ) but feel free to look at the aliance killboard to see that we have been very active in our new home system although not all OUR kills are posted there yet.
Most of our corp play this game for fun and arnt power gamers so i apologise if we arnt fighting with out freinds every second of the day.

I've been having more fun with this op than any other time in EVE. You FATAL guys constantly bring the fight no matter whether we outnumber you or you outnumber us.

Heheh the hidden card of the DD has been played, nice hit, and it did hurt at the right moment.
Doesn't change much though and sorry i couldn't die to it i was stuck in awful lag on c-n gate in my uber expensive nano bs lol .
A few words about it , great shot chowdown it prolly was the perfect time to do this, and its the easiest and cheapest way to help your allies very efficiently :p
About the rest, we've had nice fighting with Fatal efficiently ganking any poor pilot who thought logging in system was safe ^^ poor dread lol .
About the lag, i got no idea why but whenever there is lag my ship just stops existing or something, and i was lucky not to warp to pos that time, cuz all other fleet battles i was stuck at 1 fpm and prayed till some WC warped us off ^^ .
About the odds, i think we usually outnumber Fatal between 1.5 -1 to 2-1 fairly decent, not really blobbing considering we have to watch gates outposts and bash pos's so its real nice so far.
I believe the doomsday were meant to be dodged, too bad its not yet possible, thx ccp for working on it lol .
Again ,great fight Fatal you guys are the best ennemy i've had so far, good fight no smack, smart moves, really nice campaign :p

Best fight i had in a long time not even in impass where such fights only thing that the Titan did in my opinion was to balance the situation frome our favor a littel in fatals favor because they didn't have there capital fleet jumping out and staing there and actualy fighting killing a lot of our guys there but even so for the few guys that survied the DDD hats of to thows that fighet afther it and hats of to Fatal for a well organized and strategic acomplished plan
P.S. the only said part is that i didn't scoup all thows cans i had a alt ready in the next sistem whit a hauler but next time they are mine mwahahaha mwahahah mwaahhahahah

I had so much fun! Thanks for the fights, that was some of the most fun I have ever had in this game! Lag was bad but I had no trouble with my modules. That battle just didnt seem to end!

Just want to say that the 30 minute battle that followed after the titan hit was probably the best fun I've had in Eve the longest time. Not much lag for a fleet battle of that size, excellent fight, just wish Eve had more of the same. Cant wait for the next move...

I think the ferocity of the fight shows that we were fully justified in our building a large number to hit that system.

Anyway, was fun although the lag won tbh. I was in the frontline all the time..i didnt appear in one KM...you know why? LAG...couldn't lock, shoot or warp off. Did i get killed ? no... did i kill or help kill? nope.
After the big fight there was another 20v20 man....and that was great fun...Again, no smack and mutual respect.

This has been one of the best battles I've been in. Never expected anything less from Fatal and Blackreign tho... :P Kudos to you all (and thank god I don't know anyone that I've been on the killmail for!! ) I've enjoyed the smack free local and the fact that Fatal has brought it and fought hard in each and every engagement!!

this so far has been more or less smack free. can we please keep it that way, especialy from people who arnt even involved in this war.
The Titan was a very good move which was timed perfectly, but it will only work once or 2 before it is countered, as lv have already expirience with their own enemies. Fatal did well to capatlise on the shock attack, and replaced the destroyed POS. well done to them....but i think that the titan poping into ym- is the embodiement of the very reason this siege is going on and to the minds of the allied forces justifies it, and has strngthened their reslove by knowing that our worries are very much a real threat.
Anyhow this os far has been a fun fight and was well worth the 7 months ive waited for it. and look forward to been a lot more active now ive come up in a ship whats actualy worth something in a fleet fight :D

After 50 jumps to get there - i warped to the pos - couldnt do anything after i arrived - heard something about titan and dd on ts - logged after 10 minutes and found myself back in empire after i re-logged.
Wasnt the best day for me but i hope for more fun and less LAG in the next fights

Most of my lag has infact been client side, dont get me wrong, module lag is still there but the majority of the issues ive been facing is running 3 accoutns on one PC while attempting a fleet battle at a sieged POS on one of them.
CCP has come along way from how the game was afew months back, i just hope they maintain it, and ofc improve upon it.

Another great fight by both sides last night. Kudos to all. Tbh the only thing that is disappointing me is that not everyone is being fair and honest by not posting killmails . Come on guys on all sides, you lose a ship post it, it doesn't help you or your corp to save face. It does the exact opposite.
Other than that, keep up the excellent smack free good solid fighting

Major Kudos to FATAL for all the fights so far. We knew they'd be a tough target, and we were right. We're getting excellent fights out of this, and seeing a lot of tactical innovation from both sides.
Just what we needed to get ourselves out of carebear mode
Calling in the Titan was a brilliant move; I figured that if LV was going to lend a hand that it would be with a conventional fleet. Using the titan instead bought you a lot of shock value and broke our hold on the system for the first time since Friday night. I'm sure you've used the time wisely to get yourselves restocked and more ship arrays put up to support your pilots outside the station; I know I sure would have.
Let it never be said that FATAL are slouches, at all. Personally, after you lose the outpsot I'd love to see you flying with us rather than against us.

The Titan was a very good move which was timed perfectly, but it will only work once or 2 before it is countered, as lv have already expirience with their own enemies. tbh i agree that its a good fight but as far as the titan justifying concerns, not true. we came here to build our own alliance.
of course we still have buds in various corps around eve as do most long term players and close knit corps but all we realy wanted is a home and regular smallish fleet battles whitch you guys have now finaly provided.
we are no longer in lv and had very little to do with them until we were sieged.
just as the members of your guys various alliances attacking us are not gonna form a single alliance as this brings unwanted attention and fights that cause uber lag fests we feel the same way i personaly enjoy battles with not many more than 100 or so combatants so i can enjoy the experiance and not sit with a frozen screen until i reappoear in a station lol

Good post, sophisticated, but I think one area Fatal could use some work is our forum warfare... might want to enable your alliance ticker before you get wtfmodded, bud
Otherwise, I just came here to say what pretty much everyone else has been saying, GF all around and thanks for helping us break in our new home with some kickass PVP. The fleet battles have been awesome, but I've also had a lot of fun working to retake the system every night in some great smaller skirmishes.
F4T4L is here to stay, what fun would the new regions be without us? Booooriiing....

We try not to condone such measures, i have personally advised people against causing lag to prevent people from playing the game, a game we are all enjoying thus far and i think the actions of both sides have been a good thing for eve if i'm honest.

My excellent leaders advise me to say "GF" on the forums and be polite. I'll keep it short.
Everyone in fatal lived out of POS's while we worked our little behinds off to put the outpost up. One of the previous posters on this thread said FATAL is throwing everything at them. I'm actually loading my next hurricane into a slingshot now.... with some more silverware from our corp hanger. Basically we have lived out of POS's and been cramped until we got the post up and we can continue to live that way and we have been fighting hard and smart to hold it. Every time you log onto our TS it sounds like a highly coordinated military spec ops team. I joined the F4T4L corp just before they left LV and it has been the best experience I have ever had playing the game. Thanks to everyone out there with me o/

Status update: 0354 hours - YM-SRU is completely hostile free - POS' repped and filled with stront
Great fun tonight guys. Many thanks to all involved. This is some of the best fun I've definately had in a while (wasn't present this weekend for all the real fun). The night started off with some of our POS' coming out of reinforced - we were ready for the worst. A large hostile fleet formed up on the station and we had reports of hostile capital ships moving out from their homes.
After repping the POS' back up and filling with stront we had some extremely fun engagements on the station. Started with us warping in, chasing/popping hostiles and destroying their large bubble (don't get me wrong, we both took losses here but I would have to say we won this engagement) to only have one of our carriers get stuck on the station (pilot lagged out or blackscreened) when we warped back out.
Of course, immediately, the hostiles capitalized on this (props to you guys) and jumped right on top of our carrier pilot that was lagged out. We almost immediately responded by jumping back in right on top of the carrier to provide support until the pilot relogged. After all hostiles ran or got popped we got all capitals out from around the station and regrouped at POS.
Several more engagements were to follow after this but the bottom line is that the system is now hostile free.
I would have to say tonight didn't look like near as much fun as the past few but I was not present for that fun this weekend and I still had lots of fun tonight.
I feel the isk lost here in this siege between FATAL and opposition could be said to be about equal. Especially when you factor in the larger numbers that have gone against us - our opposition may have taken more losses but they are also greater in numbers. I would say FATAL has been doing EXTREMELY well but call it almost even right now (although we still have the system and that is all that counts - the losses are a moot point, it is the outpost that matters).
I look forward to more nights of this to follow. I think the highlight of the night for me atleast was the vagabond doing 30-40dmg per shot to me, in my lowly t2 ecm scorp that is barely tanked.
Closing, could I ask what it means when you guys said the LV DD being fired only 'strengthened your resolve'?
Again, props to all involved, absolutely no smack to be found here.

Untill recently DJ leads an op: grab that cheap caracel and jump into that battle jumpclone and hope to live past the next hour... but lately he almost starts to behave sensible!

on the contrary not once did we think this would be quick or easy, nor do we consider fatal a mining alliance...only a fool would do so. The resistance provided is about what was expected..the amount of respect shown on both side up to this point has exceded my expectations.I would like to ask any third parties to show the same level of maturity...if your unable to, just dont post. and noticing everyone else involed dont either.
(curious as to why on the fatal board they are reporting so many kills against xpact but xpact show very little and vice versa...)

I know, I know. The fact of the matter is that we've inflicted massive amounts of more isk lost on the enemy than they have on us. I just wanted to be polite to our excellent enemy, and if you think about it on a per player isk loss basis it might be closer to even since they have a bigger force. But yea, we are definately taking it to these multiple alliance NAP huggers.
Like someone said earlier, we all really agreed on this war (right? ) to destroy lots of ships and drive mineral prices back up since that's what these new regions are so good at producing.
Ohh and HI to Leandra. I always enjoyed talking with you back almost a year ago. Always giving your rl brother hell for being such a carebear. Plus, you sound really cute

On friday night, when you guys killed my mega, the mail I got looks perfectly normal. I could cut it and paste it into our F4T4L corp KB, however it then showed up as me being on your side The Alliance kb gave me a string of error messages when I tried to paste it there.
I tried to send it to a corp mate to post it for me however it refuses to be pasted into an eve-mail window or my notepad. So subtract 1 BS loss and add one to us

Actually, Psycho, no offense, but you should seriously recheck the killboards, not just yours which seems to be missing a vast number of Fatal losses. My corp alone has over 80% efficiency. And you'd have to calculate in the pos we killed as well. Even after the DD weapon, there's no basis in fact for your statement. GF though!

was a hard fought weekend. unfortionally the DD shot (thanks chow ) was timed perfectly so we didn't have the support fleet to finish the job and get a friendly tower in place.

Not only that, but unless you have some dedicated killboard trolls, copying/pasting, searching through all the various boards, kills, deaths, bleh, it's a friggin' nightmare (especially with the myriad of boards involved in this rumble). You can bark at your corpmates all day long and some still won't remeber to post deaths, even kills sometimes.
I've seen RSS feeds on some boards, somehow tying into those to get kills on both sides should give accurate-ish numbers. Of course the fighter manufacturers are having a field day :P

Can I request the F4T4L Alliance guys and our enemies refrain from turning this into a 'we killed more than you thread' as I can see it heading that way.
We can all see each others killboards, and we can all see the discrepancies on ALL boards. The reality is people love to post kills but not losses(fact). There will only ever be a 100% proof solution to this and that's if CCP controlled/had a built ingame automated kill/deathmail system hereby relying on peoples honesty.
Those who intentionally refuse to post deaths but kills have no honour. Those who post both have my respect, be it friend or foe.
Great fights, some heart stopping moments in combat i'm sure for both sides, smack free and respectful. Let's keep it that way and enjoi.

If we wanted an easy target, there are a lot of those in the new regions, but Fatal is not one of them. Very few of us expected this to be a quick weekend op ending in taking the outpost. We knew that Fatal would put up a good fight and the LV would probalbly help them out.
So, no, we're not getting desperate. Its hard to get desperate when you're actually having good and fun fight without all the e-peen waving some of us had to deal with before this op...

Would just like to point out I have still after all the fighting yet to see any smack. When one considers the situation of both fleets and the tension this would be a surprise. I have previously camped in the Ka-Tet outpost and know they don't smack in local so this was never an issue.
As of after Downtime only 3 enemies remained logged in the F4T4L region.

is it just me or are ppl having more fun then usual in this war? (and im talking about both sides)
The north and south attitudes haven't reached the new regions or it the rogue drones absorb it as fuel.
Not really, I think most of the people involved all come from either the North or the South.
Its just that in this case both sides are smackfree and were generally willing to engage on reasonably equal terms this weekend, so that we are not sitting around for hours and hours waiting for something to happen.
The group of alliances attacking FATAL have an advantage in numbers in most cases, FATAL has the advantage of an entrenched position and easier resupply with their station when its not bubblecamped. All-in-all the conditions have been met for both sides to have fun and some great fights to keep everyone happy.

I had to get in on this, and after 12 pages of reading i think my eyes are bleeding.
This is fun, and i love it. I dont think i land any KMs, and im still having fun. I think ive been shot at by so many fighters i should get some kind of BF2 medal. I missed the titan, but thats ok, there are still plenty of dreads and carriers to keep us busy.

First I'd like to say gf all and that I, too, am having the time of my EVE life.
I'm the maker of that EVE Video posted above, and have taken it down whilst I add a minor tweak to it. Look here for the (slightly) updated version!
I would have had the Titan DD frapsed had I not CTD'd due to lag, and I would have had the epic fight that followed if FRAPS would have recorded more than just 1 frame for the following 30 minutes after I got back in. I'm sure it won't be the last, so as long as we keep fighting I'll keep making vids.
