I'm pleased to announce that EVE Auction.com (http://www.eveauction.com/) is complete. It is a free eBay-like system for buying and selling EVE items using isk as currency. It's very new, so please do fill it with auctions and help us make buying and selling items in EVE as easy as possible.
We currently feature all the usual proxy bidding functionality, as well as a Buy it Now feature and an advanced search system for potential buyers to find exactly the item they are looking for.

the NPC price for an Imicus is 198k .. if your seeing it on the market for 75k thats a player/corp making them and selling them . ----- Apologys for any rambling that may have just occurred.

Yup, excellent site. Some idiot sellers asking way too much/not giving enough info, but eBay has those too. The successful sellers in eBay are the ones that establish a good rep and provide lots of info.
For example, there's a guy charging 2mill for an anitmatter hybrid BP copy. 100 in each research area.
The problems: a) He hasn't said which size it is. If it's an S BP, he's insane. If it's M, it's still too pricey. If he's got a large BP, then it's worth it. b) He/she doesn't understand the BP research system at all. Specifically, the diminishing returns portion of it. The effect of research becomes less with each iteration, with 90% of the benefit in the first 9 levels, the next 10 levels only providing an additional 5% benefit totaling 0.5% of BP base cost, the next 20 levels only 2.5%. Going beyond 20 for small-ticket items like hybrid charges doesn't get you much, if anything at all. If they think that going from 10 researches to 20 is worth more than a 10% price increase, they're sorely mistaken. ---------------- Blue Screen of Death CEO Exodus Enterprises |

Little extra announcement. For all who don't yet know, dutch auctions are now supported. So those of you selling large quantities of items can put the whole lot up for auction, and have multiple people win various pieces of the pie.
Works very good for selling minerals, droids, ammo, stuff that people usually need a larger quantity of. Some people have even successfully auctioned off multiple ships using this method.
So guys, bang away at the site a bit more. We're up to 1,000 users, and over 19,000 hits per day, so we your auctions have plenty of eyes on them. :)

Zero Spin, there are alot trades going on for mineral costs + ISK. Ever thought how hard would it be to implement a possibility to set up an auction and be able to specify what an how many minerals one asks for along with ISK? implementation should allow to specify minimum ammount and max of minerals seller is willing to accept and what each mineral type is valued at on the seller part.
If you want more details drop me a line ingame and we can talk more.
