His questions got so much trolling because every patch there are exactly eleventy billion threads exactly like this with people who have run 4 of [site x] and not gotten a single [desired outcome y]. All we are asking is for people to either a) read the forums before posting or b) get a significant sample size first. |

This. I believe the same thing happens with invention every expansion/patch as well. I know it did this time. |

Everyone just need to stop exploring... there is nothing to find.
I'll tell you what, go back to ratting, mission whoring... whatever you want, hell try planet interaction, gawd knows CCP would love to hear if any one actually does that stuff. I'll stop what I'm doing and start probing, I will let you know in if I happen to find anything of value, its doubtful, but I know you guys want to go make your iskie.
I know I'm taking the hit here, haveing to probe to find nothing out there, but if you feel sad for me or anything shoot me some isk to make yourself happier.

Dang, they be coming out of the woodwork now. Someone must have sounded the Troll Horn in 'General Discussion' and pointed to 'Missions and Complexes'.

I read the forums. CCP doesn't like to and rarely ever posts any statements saying their latest patch has broken various things in the game. Instead they just keep doing a bunch of little 'Updates' every couple of days for about 2 weeks until eventually everything is moderately close to being normal again.
So please tell us your version of what a significant sample size should be? |

In the last 2.5 years that I have been exploring, exploration has been broken once (the site spawning bug a few months ago). Every patch we get a few people that don't understand how rarity works, do a couple sites, get a bad streak (we all do) but because its right after a patch, they connect the two rather than continue exploring to break their streak. We see the same thing with invention. Every patch. You white knighting people like this simply fuels the ignorance.
