No. WH gas is for reacting the raw materials to build tech 3 components.

-Xander No. WH gas is for reacting the raw materials to build tech 3 components. Oh no, that was my fear after seeing guides! Tbh not a guide talks well about this difference. I have only one question left: i saw that Amber Cytoserocin is found in the vale of the silent region with hotspot in E-8, so is it possible to find that gas in other systems in the Vale of the silent or that gas can be only found in E-8 constellation? Thank you. o7
I believe it can technically be found elsewhere, but with nowhere near the frequency, but I'm not an expert on gas mining.
In general, I would recommend against doing your own resource harvesting. Just buy the gas.

Also be aware that demand for boosters on the public market is quite low. Unless you have a wholesale buyer, there are simply better things to do with your time and money.
I have occasionally produced a single reactor's worth of synth boosters, but only when I had spare capacity. I was unloading them to buy orders. It was basically just a POS fuel offset.

The margins can be quite good, but it's low volume. And don't forget the logistics hassles of moving illegal cargo in high sec, if you're planning to sell on the open market.
Also be aware that there are some new boosters coming out soon which, at least on Test, have pretty amazing stats, and will be acquired with points accrued in Project Discovery. So, there's potentially some new competition for existing boosters on the horizon.
