Hi. I'm not a native english speaker. I don't check for spelling on every post I make, except when it's something 'controversial' that I really care about. In those cases I like people to focus on the arguments, not the spelling. At home I use open-office cuz it's free. After writing, cut & paste in here.
Sometimes if it's only one word that I'm not sure how to spell, I google it. Google usually catch spelling mistakes and ask/sugest the correct word.
Personally, I don't frigging care if your spelling is good or bad as long as is readable. I care more about your arguments and opinions. |

Yes, just put your ideas down and let us try to figure them out. I hate to see the flamers that go at someone just because they aren't native English speakers.
btw, the new version of Firefox has a built in spell checker and while handy, it won't correct actual grammar errors, only spelling errors.

I am a non-native speaker (Dutch here) and when i am going to type something in english, and i dont know how to spell a certain word, I grab that dictionary sitting on my shelve. I must be a bit old then by using a book . ______________________________

Firefox underlines misspelled words, you then right click and it will suggest corrections.
It's not foolproof, but it's decent.

This is wide open for a joke about Firefox users.
I'll let it slip since I recently started using it myself; WTF do you mean 'roflmao' isn't a word? ----------

I'm using the latest version of FireFox Portable on my USB memory stick, and it has a built-in spellcheck for forums/online forms where you are expected to type.
I would think that the latest version of Firefox 2 will also have this function.
