Ok is there a way to get back to being able to set a camera position from your ship and then when u jump it stays the same? since revelations it keeps snapping back to point blank on my ship and its really annoying

there's at least 5 posts regarding this since revelation patch. no sticky and no word from ccp even acknowledging it as a problem. best advice so far is holding both mouse buttons and moving mouse to zoom out, works faster and saves wear on the scroll button. another nice feature lost; if it was in the name of reducing lag, it'd be ok. but zooming out does reduce lag, and speeds up loading systems as you jump in. the zoom out button now opens the map, so likely the new map had something to do with this new bug. was it worth it?

Actually the exact same thing happens in the Map, System view.
Try zooming out to be able to see the whole system. Right click on a planet and warp to it - the map zooms back in real close and you lose sight of the system. Barrier Solo, CEO, INSM, ISS Join us! http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadid=402528 |
