Twice in a week i have been attacked, by separate people, in amarr. This is a 1.0 sec system.
I have a good rating to amarr.
My corp was not at war.
The shield of my maller was stripped after i received multiple hits, before i bugged out.
Police did not show up...
Is this a bug?

I've seen a ship blow up in a 1.0 system. Somehow the police didn't react until the ship was destroyed. At the moment the ship went boom a group concord spawned and destroyed the attacker in seconds.

why dont you just fire back and hit the shield booster a few times?

After taking a sec hit when CONCORD destroyed my attacker (Participating in the destruction) having done exactly that, I never recommend shooting back. Better to dock, check war status and wonder "WTF?"
I mean its like you want corporations to oblige each other like its sex or something. Pffft I would rather **** my enemy.- Rohann

I've heard that if there has been another attack in the same system recently, that Concord takes a while to show up. "Investigating the scene" or so I've heard.
This is not factual in anyway; it's just what I've seen posted elsewhere from someone who had the same thing happen to them.
Give me a bit and i might be able to add a link.

That is a bug. You should be able to destroy the ship (not the pod) of anyone who attacks you first in any system. The enemy must shoot you first and you can NOT destroy their POD. Spelling corrections welcome, but don't expect me to edit my post. |

I know it was a bug. Knowing that it was a bug didn't get my Rupture reimbursed. So when in doubt, err on the side of caution.
A person is in empire space, has been attacked, is not part of a war and Concord has not shown up: Good chance a bug is in process.
Firing on the person while it's possible a bug is affecting a game mechanic designed to destroy battleships in seconds: Asking to get pwned and not have your equipment reimbursed.

This has been happening for weeks.
I gave my brother an Armageddon. He goes AFK in a 1.0 and loses the ship within the first few hours. LOL!
He petitioned, but nothing came of it, though it was called an exploit by the GMs that investigated. They did offer a little comfort in telling him that the attacker lost his ship sometime later.
