Wait, I thought the minimum bid for an auction was 1 million isk? At least that is what the game told me when I was trying to set up a charity auction--buy Karlemgne gtcs.

1 mil sounds kinda high, and this thread was about 10k starting so..

So no, it doesn't work. You can't make a private auction any more. Must have been a stealth change in the last patch.

You can create a private auction to a CORP, this is whats being said.
I just did it and 0.0 isk works as starting bid.

That I set the auction up for his corp and with a low bid price to avoid taxes. I think, ok fair enough. So...I....do !!!!! 10,000 initial price with a 385 mill buyout.
I don't understand, there are no taxes on contracts I thought?

Oh a corp! Sounds like a bug to me, why would it let you set one to a corp but not a person?
Actually, I just realised that you might want to auction it inside a very large corp. Fair enough.

I got hit with this too, except I had asked a corp mate if you can cancel auctions with bids on them and he said you could.. ask him if he was sure and he's like 'yea, very sure' so I did and what do you know, you can't. So now I'm ****ed off at him, not really the scammer lol.
