New elections are needed, I fought for my freedom.

I'm so disolutioned by the fact that the leaders of the Republic have wondered from this path, so far that they can, in there minds justify the murder of one of our hero's.

It does seem abit more polite to ask her to step down rather than tie her to a torp and fire her at a Amarrain station as some have suggested.
A better course of action would be for your entire "Republic" to submit to Imperial will. It is the only way for peace between us.

It would appear that a great many of those signing this petition are unaware of the nature of the Republic government. Midular was not elected by the Matari people as a whole, and therefore a replacement would not be either. Each tribe chose it's own leaders, and those leaders, not the people, chose Midular. So it would appear all you are really asking for is a chance to choose new leaders for your individual tribes, in the hopes that *they* will choose a leader other than Midular.
