Edit: Probably should add that it works better in gangs then by itself, where it is not the ship tanking.

But basically deimos sucks cause it cant field a gank better than astarte, it cant field an armor tank at all, it cant field a speed tank and it cant even field a mediocre gank/tank setup. There is no reason for one to buy a deimos when the astarte outperforms deimos in every role and is cheaper on top of that! Oh and blasters really need a boost! But I seriously doubt this will happen while Tux is still in charge of balance matters. Sleipnir is cheaper than vaga for example. Anyway, as far as I can see Deimos can do pretty well, nor do I see a reason to BOOST Blaster and drone boats!? Gallente is already one of the better PvP races, they've one of the few (if not only) BS that can kill other ships with quite a low tank... They cant already pull out best dps there is... Why dont you take another beer?

No 4th midslot (Vaga got +2 lows/ +1 med, Deimos got +1 low, and useless +1 high (no additional turret slot)) 6.
