Greetings from the front lines. To all those goons up there with me, fighting, screaming, drinking, dying, I salute you. I am going to report on my perspective on the war as this goes on. I make no claim to be unbiased, possess any unique intel, or have any special qualifications other than this lossmail. Consider this an attempt at battlefield Journalism. Don't expect much useful intel on Goon and Allied activities, and also expect no level of circumspection as I discuss our enemies. Let me be exactingly clear. I am a Goon, and I will take considerable delight in the destruction of our enemies. Also, I don't promise to update this blog on a daily basis, but I expect that updates will be more frequent than not. Now, on with the blog.
From a purely killboard standpoint, this first day of the war was a complete and utter disaster. LV and BOB's killboards have been padded with hundreds of killmails while their own lossmails have been comparatively light. Ever ones to harp upon their killboard successes, it is certain that these two alliances will be certain to expound upon their magnificence and prowess. Let me tell you that this will not matter. Eve is not determined by who has the prettiest kill board with the longest count of coup taken. Eve is determined by who holds the field at the end of the day.
Initial fleet battles against the combined LV/BoB armada in their primetime have resulted in heavy allied losses. This is only half of the tale. This was a direct result of our attempts to break into LV's capital shipyards and abort the production of their titan. Current reports make that system an impregnable fortress guarded by the very best of both alliances. It is certain that for now they can maintain a 23/7 watch upon the system, securing it from allied hands. They just have to hold out for 29 more days until the titan being built therein is completed.
What is important to realize is that once our primetime hit engagements ceased, goon frigate/cruiser suicide ops not withstanding. This is not to say that the allies were camped in their stations, safespots, and POSes. No, they were systematically exterminating LV POSes in precious station systems in Innsmother (finally marking the last chapter of the Southern Coalition's presence in that region) and Detorid. We were capitalizing upon the massive havok wreaked by our magnificent allies in the Red Alliance and Tau Ceti Federation a few short days ago. Were it not for BoB's intervention, today would have rung the death knell for LV's alliance. What should have been the end of days for their alliance has instead become merely a very bad day.
1 day down, 29 more to go. Let's see if they have the stamina to keep us away from those shipyards.
Ceterum censeo Comitatus Fratorum esse delendam. |

actually this operation was a success for the coaliton, (not fully as the cap shipyards were protected)
i got one question tough, didnt the build job in the cap yard get ejected and reset when it was brought into reinforced? (no clue how those things work) ___________________________________

o7 to all Goonswam pilots out there on the front lines I was with the suicide fleet when we jumped into JV1, it was not a pretty sight but reports are saying many pilots were able to break through and survive

Lol, that made me laugh. That's confidence ! Since AAA and D2&friends have entered the battlefield it looks it gets a tough ride for BoB/LV. I have no idea how this ends. But noone can complain anymore that it's no challenge.

mayben but if that means LV can save there capital shipyards is something els. With Delve under siege, BoB would need to stop helping LV to safe there own home.

Interesting write-up .... I look forward to more of them.
I've been giving this some cool-headed thought and I am convinced more than ever about one thing.
BoB must die... they are no longer useful to EVE in any shape or form.. no longer are they an example to be looked up to.
.. and righteousness is on the side of the coalition.
May your bullets strike true and your fleets carry with them the fury of hell.

From our Perpective:
We had 2 cap shipyards in JV1V coming out of reinforced. The stront was coming out in goon primetime (03.00) so we were expecting a chance to score a decisive victory over their (RA and TCFs and the 3-5 that goons own) dreadnaughts.
It soom became apparant (by about 20.00) that the enemy were very serious about the situation. 150 TCF were in M-R preventing any entry to JV1V (in theory), 100+ CA were heading down from 1v-, 150 Goons were in 46DP (3 jumps from JV1V).
As usual, BoB showed balls by jumping into the Goon fleet, and amid massive lag our fleet jumped in from a different direction to assist. That battle quickly went our way, and as we were looting wrecks the node dropped.
On reconnect the remainder of the goon fleet were making a bee-line for M-R and the TCF fleet, we popped another 25 or so by bubbling the exit gate, and then titanned the lot that made it through for a few more kills. Next the combined LV/BoB fleet jumped in and finished off the last of the Goon fleet.
By this point TCF and CA were demanding attention. BoB dealt with TCF (Titan, capital jumping and then fleet jumping) for many kills, and then LV ended the CA fleet with a nice 85 kill Doomsday.
The whole LV/BoB group then protected JV1V for several hours while our POSs were recharged.
A 400 man Goon fleet formed up in DG-, but instead of coming for us (200 or so at this point), they changed plans and went for GB-, the furthest away of all LV outposts systems. RA had put many of the small, unarmed POSs protecting its 68 moons into reinforced the day before so they were able to finish many of them off.
RAGoonTCF can play this off as their plan all they like, but if they hadnt lost upward of 300 ships over the course of the evening, they DEFINATELY would have gone for JV1V.
Today the fighting continues, and is a similar story. You are totally right goons, Kill ratios mean sod all. Unfortunately for you, so do POSs.
What matters is ISK and morale, and while we keep melting BS after BS for minimal losses, we are winning on both fronts.

The following screenshot, taken by GIA agents inside LV, proves LV are currently manufacturing a Titan in JV1V: Linkage. LV has approx 30 days to defend this if they want to keep their Titan. Failure to do so will result in the loss of this ship.
The rank and file in LV are being asked to spend massive amounts of playing time keeping this system blobbed up. If every member of LV contributes 100 % of their free time on doing this, you may actually see this Titan materialise. This is what your leaders tell you. I don't believe this is possible given what you face, but I could be wrong.
In the meantime, the rest of your territory is undefended. So much so, that RA was able to start trying out conga lines of dreads when in GB-.
So do the rank and file think itĘs a good idea to sit and wait while you loose all your territory? Why would your leaders ask you to sit tight for so many long hours, as the rest of your territory is taken from you without a fight?
They want the titan so when everything eventually does go to pot, and the way things are going that isnĘt so far away, they get to keep both Titans and you get sweet **** all.

Or because they realize that Titans are the next level of fleet combat, and that two Titans means your gate camps are worthless and your dread support fleets floating space junk.
Which means you'll be fighting a POS war with undefended dreads. Have fun with that.
But right, it doesn't matter how many ships you lose, how many battles you lose, how much you lose, because somehow you'll prevail in the end. Just like Goonswarm did in Syndicate.

I dont think you know the goons very well then.. In xzh I persoally lead fleets day out and day slaughering there 300man fleets all the time.. But you know what they just keept comming back for more.. And here is the great part about the goons. they can lose a 300man fleet and get a new one in a matter of hours.. Yes they are that good..
Goons are not normal EVE players i sayd that in xzh and ill say it again.. losses mean nothing tothem.. So GL to you guys, you can slaugheter there fleets over and over again until you get tired or ran out of ammo..
