But if you insist: Our kill board shows 36 kills to 57 losses, though some losses are sure to be still missing due to logged pilots. All in all as expected.
Agreed, numbers game is pointless.

It isn't bugged. Its a natural phenomenon (you get a message when you warp in that explains it). We had an equal problem with that gate; when we had to warp back into the fight after warping out, we landed 0km from the gate, right on your fleet.
This meant that we had both fewer people warping back in early on, and people were also less willing to warp out from their sniper spot which they spent 20 minutes getting to, and they probably a few more died.
It hurt both ways, though without a doubt it was more deadly to those jumping in.
Perhaps next time you can set up a camp on that gate

Hi,
main Problem was the LAAAGGGG.
I jump in. screen freeze. after 5 minutes. i log off and login again immediatly. 15 minutes black screen. After the 15 minutes i see my pod.
:-( That sucks. I have no problem to die, but not through lag...

Actually, that's only partly true.
Deadspace? Gas Clouds? Yes. No MWD.
However, the forced warp to zero thing is believed to be a bug. We've had TomB and a few other weird Polaris frigs from tests corporations playing with the gate over the last few weeks.
I'm told the warp to zero problem might be fixed in the next patch. |

Would be nice, then we can warp back into battle at range
Though to be honest we need more battle situations where the environment affects the fight; it makes it far more interesting.

I know what caused it, but it just shows how stupidly planned(if at all) some of these things are. Its nearly an I win button if your camping the gate.
Get your fleet setup to hit well at 220km your oponent jumps in with usual sniper range stuggles to hit you cant mwd into range, is stuck in a large bubble, even if they get out of the bubble they cant warp to a ceptor that has managed to slow boat to your fleet without dieing some how, and then the last few that you call primary might manage to warp out if theyve got out of the bubble yet.

It wasn't a good fight for me, but that has nothing to do with our opponents. I just got the short end of the lag stick, and got about six screen updates before waking up in a station. Couldn't activate any modules or target anything. I might as well have taken screen screenshots and flipped through them like a slide show. ;)
Sounds like the people who "unfroze" had a good time though. Next time maybe the server gods will smile upon me. __________________

for those interested in in-deepth stats of the battle: http:// <our killboard url> /?a=kill_related&kll_id=50266
numbers were according to the counter: 78(we) vs. 99 (they)
we jumped on their drones-out-snipers-at-optimal-bubblecamp in the bugged(?!) system where no mwd was possible at the gate, neither were cynofields
great fight! lots of fun!! //liq
ps: serveral players logged soon after the fight because it was getting pretty late and the kb was getting raped by all those visits (visitor record today \o/) so i expect more mails to roll in tomorrow.

Having these deadspace areas out in the open seems pretty random to me. I want stargates where natural phenomena are preventing the firing of projectile turrets and oh, self destruct. "If you were experiencing a lag, it was not server related." |

No, MC had no bearing on the outcome of that fight. I can absolutely attest to that.
Btw, Mad props to fix for being where I was supposed to be 2 hours earlier and with lots of metal. ^_^ Blah, I'll fix the durn sig when I feel like it. |

Originally by: Gyro DuAquin1 D2 jumped in, interdictor bubble was set, and they and were picked off like fish in a barrel. Not to say they didn't inflict losses; I think we lost well over a dozen, though they lost 60-70+.
When u state out numbers pls make sure that those are close to be correct and not some random estimation.
Sorry, let me get the exact numbers from our killboard. Well, they're not going to be perfect as you can't guarantee every posted mails (as multiple alliances were involved) and the "related" feature isn't perfect either, but its roughly accurate.
Your losses, according to our board are 63 ships and 30 pods. Ours are 19 ships and 3 pods. Battleship losses are 34/13, accordingly.
If you count pods as ships your losses get way inflated because of the bubble, so obviously that's not fair.
obviously any xelas and corelum loses will not be posted on your kb, while you will have managed to get a pilot on most killmails.

Cynoship got popped, we decided to jump in on roughly equal numbers anyways. The rest was math und fun.

To the MCs jumping in at the end: spoilsport
edit: and what is it with that strange gate anyways... no MWD???
You need a skill for that...it's called CCP screw up to lvl 5. :)

Also true.
But, if equal kills are made on each side after the dust clears, yet on one side, the losses are split between 3 entities while on the other the losses are all from a single entity, who is hurt more? _________________________________ Your signature exceeds the maximum allowed dimensions of 400x120 pixels and filesize of 24,000 bytes.Mail us if you have questions -Eldo Davip |

That is mixed logic. By that argument, which entity has the most isk/players, and how much of a dent % wise the losses made is the winner.
No need for lame number crunching, both sides got some kills and losses, good fight.
