Edited by: Splagada on 11/02/2007 15:04:36 but
let's have an hypotetical case..
you have an issue with a decision
you petition you get answered no. you message a dev, he says "i understand, but please petition it" you repetition, no again. you see an example of someone getting a "yes" you get annoyed, re-petition.
and you get ignored
What do you do? what are your issues in that hypothetical case?
apart from posting on eve-o, what are the possible solutions?
once again i'm not discussing the quality of decision, but i'm just curious. what are the possible solutions? ------

make a nice long email and send it to someone who isn't part of the group who look at petitions. that's what I would do :)
I got my sig snipped again. Can someone make me a new one? |

The GMs are the only recourse in a decision. When you petition you can ask for a Senior GM to take a look at it. ___

Considering I still have a petition open (related to COSMOS missions) and has been on for...uhm, half a year I very highly doubt you're in luck to find any other solution to your issue at hand. Don't worry, over time you'll get used to it and accept that the part of gameplay it's hitting doesn't apparently apply to you. --- Mandatory disclaimer: These are my thoughts, not my corps/alliances. ---

If a Dev posted publicly a policy decision on whatever it is I'd go with that rather than with what you were told personally.
If your issue needs review in light of the new policy that was posted I'd re-petition explaining that the new policy decision affects your case and make whatever points you need to to support that.
Then just hope you get a response in this lifetime.

Personally i'd say that decisions stand... changes shouldn't be retro-active.

I agree or else everyone who ever experienced whatever it was would try to re-petition. However, if he was the first to stumble over the bug/exploit and then a new decision was made regarding it he should be able to have it re-looked at. Not his fault one Dev made a snap decision and a second Dev after some thought changed the decision.
