Therefore there is a risk that the SAME random numbers are being used repeatedly to allocate BPOs, which would explain the observed behaviour of some people getting BPOs repeatedly while many get none.
Apart from the fact that you take the seed from the timeSTAMP, including day month and year or some system time, contuiously running in seconds, minutes or whatever(no real time as from a clock), i cant come up with any way where name or player-id would make any difference.
Most probably for each draw each RP gets a number, you draw one number and look who owns that. After each draw number of total tickets and of tickets of person X changes, so always having the same random number would probably not even lead to the same person getting more than one BPO in one field(even if he has a large number of agents in that field) and even less across research fields, where its imho frankly impossible. Tin-foil hattery is always nice to watch :)
That being said, my experiences:
Scimitar BPO ~ 70k RP
Tremor L ~ 25k RP
Vespa II BPO ~ 20k RP
Warrior II BPO ~ 18k RP
Temor M ~ 7k RP (got lucky there)
Scorch L ~ cant remember, should be somewhere at 20-40k
During a 3 week holiday i got additionally offered 3 BPOs, which i missed :( (one of them a large ari *sobs*), all around 20-40k RP, and i declined about 5-6 BPOS(one of them multiple times), which didnt seem to be worth all the RP
So, from my experience id say 1 single RP can be enough(of course, its a lottery), generally you most often seem to get BPOs around 20k times research field multiplier.
P.S.: I have 17 research agents, so quit whining ;)
P.P.S.: Btw is the current lottery through now or are people still getting BPOs?
(cant wait to ground some agents¦ RPs into datacores to switch research field)
