the comments about solo'ing are 100% correct. if u've ever solo'd in a sleip then u'll know that it aint great where as astarte can fit full tackling gear. if u put a web, scram, injector and mwd on the sleip then the astarte out tanks it.
plus the astarte has a better potential for dps. both gank setup the astarte is quite a bit higher in dps. both have advantages. overall in a gang i'd prefer to be in the sleip but solo imo no contest

have you flown a sleip? you don't fit a web, you will get in web range and you don't want that
LOL I'll say. I can't remeber fitting a slep w/ a webber lol. Fight in falloff new Slep pilots, fight in falloff. Screw the web lol, gotta love your mids more than that on this one.
lol u egits that's exactly my point. my whole point it that if u fit full tackle gear then u can't tank for ****. therefore obviously u don't making it not the best choice for solo.

Astarte: More damage, better tanking means it's nice in gangs.
Sleipnir: Less of a tank, but A LOT more speed means it's better for solo.
Behind enemy lines solo or in a very small gang, I'd prefer the Sleipnir. In a larger (5+) gang I'd pefer the OMGRAAAWWWWRRRR damage of the Astarte. All depends on the situation...
i was just gonna say the same thing but u beat me to it. ppl always say which would win 1v1 which is not really the topic here. ur totally wrong about the tank tho. sleipnir tanks way better than the astarte and astarte has much more dmg potential.
