If you take a closer look, you'll see we state we aren't the ones that'll take down BoB. We're just the ones that'll bother the heck out of 'em, support the allies, and have some fun getting some kills. 18's enough to do that, and I'm sure we'll just keep growing. Join Us |

That shuttle never stood a chance. We're still rampin' up, so you may or may not see more kills/losses soon. We pick our battles, or at least try to. ----------------------------------------------- www.nobob.info |

Edited by: Kittamaru on 20/02/2007 23:55:34 Nubs... why not let everyone who's allied with BoB smash you before you get the chance to strike? It'll make things less painful in the long run.
You DO realize there is a reason BoB knows how to PvP- it's called they've been doing it for... well... as long as I can remember.
BTW- you have a negative killboard...

Any truth to the rumour that the evil BoB killed your flagship, the mighty caracal recently?
Back to empire to purchase ethnic relations again huh?

Oookkaayyy, somewhere along the line some of you have completely missed the point.

Nubs? Uh...yeah that's the point. It's not an effective insult when it perfectly describes what we are, generally two-day trained alts. As for BoB being awesome at PVP, not sure how that's relevant since we aren't fighting the regular fight. We are appearing, attacking, and disappearing. We'll get some kills, we'll die more often then kill, and we'll have lots of fun being a disruption. This has all been explained before. And our killboard will always be negative, probably by a decent margin. That's not really news or anything to trace effectiveness by. No award for intelligence will be passed out this time around, sorry.

Not sure what you're getting at, though I'm going to assume its also intended to be some kind of insult. Anyone can see plainly from our website that the Vexor is generally our ship of choice. If we were to have a "flagship" then I would be more inclined to say that would be it. However we don't plan on being too predictable, we do have caracal pilots and anyone can fly whatever ship they want really. As for ethnic relations, I've already got it trained up. Did that carcal drop it when he asploded or something? Is that intended to be some kind of slight, a caracal not standing up to 6 other ships?
Please somebody take pity on me and translate the last two posts above mine, my puny nub alt mind cannot comprehend their intent and purpose. ----------------------------------------------- www.nobob.info |

Joining an 0.0 corp/alliance is the strongest, best and most direct way to get involved in the Eve Galactic War. But alternate gateways to the battlefield should not only exist but be encouraged. This particular gateway is for people who either cannot fight BoB with their main or can't leave their present non-aligned corp. A pathway should be opened for Empire dwellers to get involved, as well -- even if it's through an activity similar to the rubber and scrap metal drives of WWII. That sense of unity would help maintain morale and could ultimately make a real difference in the war. But to call alternative forms of paricipation "bandwaggoning" demeans the entire cause, in my opinion. These are not just alliance wars. Everyone in the galaxy was hurt by what happened - whether they know it or not. And everyone deserves a means to pursue retribution, "by any means necessary," to paraphrase a famous warrior/scholar. Let's leave arrogance and snobbishness to the enemy and not let it become our own undoing. personally, I am willing to applaud any effort that leads to more BoB kills, so ...

Thanks to those offering kind words of encouragement. A word to those who are laughing and flaming, keep it up.
We are under no illusions about how effective we can be as a corp with such minimal numbers and very few sp.
But we are the pilots who are doing what we can against BoB. No alliance in there right mind would accept applications from pilots claiming to be enemies of BoB. This leaves many of the willing Eve community little option to stand up against the great ebil.
Sure, we probably have a BoB alt or 2 among us already do to our open recruitment policy. We are prepared to live in a negative killboard. We are in deep BoB space, where almost any pilot will have a better ship ready within a few jumps of our location at any time, we will be outgunned 99% of the time and likely not score much in the way of isk damage. But we are here, a little thorn in their side. We are watching and waiting.
I hope our numbers grow, I hope more pilots who can't contribute in other ways see ours as a way of doing their bit. If anyone wants to gain some pvp experience, then who better to bout against?
Anyway, we're all dead. We just don't know it.

Though we are nowhere near as large as we plan on growing, we have alread begun to move. We've been an idea on the table for a long time and decided we shouldn't wait any longer to do our part for the good of EVE. We echo the call to arms against Band of Brothers, and hope many will continue to answer that call. And BoB... why hello there. :) Please visit our website for more details on how to do your part.
All of BoB are automatically set -10. All corps found in BoB space identifying themselves as affiliated with BoB we will most likely consider targets as well, though we will focus mainly on BoB. We would appreciate + standings from our allies to prevent friendly fire, contact myself in-game and I will seek out your diplomats as well to hopefully achieve this. Above all, lets just have a hella lotta fun with all this.
(Edited for clarity since I've had more sleep since. )
You fit the profile of a BOB alt, but i agree that you could pull this one off if there's enough stupidity around. The great question is; how you fight BOB? the answer is; you fight BOB with BOB, because otherwise you will end up getting podded docked and asleep by the hand of some evil BOB sworn Devs. I don't even know who controls who anymore.
Now on a more serious note, trust is an expensive comodity in EVE, there are alot of BOB's enemies out there that made a name for themselves.

Originally by: Husari Painen Many EVE residents agree that BOB needs to be erradicated becouse they have gained an unfair advantage trough CCP developer support:
- Delve was pimped after BOB conquered it like no other region in EVE - BOB knew about all the events and was ready to prepare in advance - T2 BPO were handed out to BOB members in abudance - They were informed about game mechanics tricks by developers (exploits, to use the common word) and they were able to misuse the information to gain advantage on the battlefield (like being able to target enemy ships within the forcefield using passive targeters)
Since CCP is not ready to undo the corrupt actions it is up to EVE public to restore the ballance by anihilating BOB. This battle is not about prestige in space or owning the best region, it is about the game itself.
I have layed my hands on a chatlog from one of the meetings of anti-BOB forces (most major alliances were involved) and I will quote one of the leaders:
"This is the reason why BOB stands no chance to survive, it must fall and it will fall and this game will be known as EVE online again rather then BOB online. If CCP will not react to give all an equal chance then we must take action in our own hands. Their POSes will be destroyed, their capital ship arrays will be turned to dust, their outposts will occupied and they will cease to exist. BOB will be sent to history, where it belongs."
And they eat babies sauteed in fresh kitten blood.

Lol, what can I say. When the gangs all gone to bed rattings a decent way to pass the time, get free modules, and pay for the incredibly expensive ships we lose. The downside of course is when its hours past your bedtime, judgement slips. I usually scan non-stop, but this time I was slow and scanned the vagabond as he warped into the belt, not as he jumped in system. So now I have to buy a new vexor and generic modules. Where am I gonna get that much cash!?!? ----------------------------------------------- www.nobob.info |

The idea of such a thing would have appealed me in the past, but some day you grow older... and wiser. Not all of BoB is justified to be hated; they have as many nice and fair gamers like most of the other alliances have. If you come to think of it, in such games there are always a handfull of people forming and directing the flow of a community, shouldnŠt judge the whole from the actions of a few.
The sad thing is that most of the fair and honorable players do not have the courage to stand up and criticize if their own corp/alliance does things that are moraly doubtfull. But as said futher above, the main player base in most alliances is mainly the same: I wouldnŠt expect an ASCN or D2 member to criticize itŠs own leaders either if they would be performing unmoral actions.
kind regards, Skel
