I thought at the time you where all a bunch of whiners. However you where right and I was wrong. I also left because I thought you where largely a bunch of hopeless losers. Recent events make it clear there would be no other conclusion to the battles we fought. All I can say is I am sorry and hope you'll forgive me. You have my full respect for fighting a hopeless battle inspite of your well founded suspiscions. It is not my intention to flame BoB in this post ( I am sure thats done everywhere else) but to apologize to ASCN. I hope this thread can be used by players like me who copped out and left friends to cope with riduculous odds and in the process lose most of their assetts.

It didn't change my opinion of him and I still thought he was a great guy to have in corp, but I did think some of the things were a bit errrr....mental!! So I'd like to hijack your post slightly and apologise for that as they indeed turned out to be true!

Definately. Haven't we seen enough of these threads? It isn't only about the T2 BPOs. Are BoB good PVP'ers? Without a doubt. Would they have beaten ASCN without this DEV intervention? Most probably, yeah. But knowing that they were given a favorable treatment by devs, is reason enough to be ****ed off. If the "little man on the street" gets banned for account sharing, but BoB directors don't get banned, even after encouraging people to create "share accounts", something is wrong. Doesn't matter if ASCN would have made it through or not, it still makes it wrong. EDIT: I do agree that we don't need a gazillion other new threads talking about the same thing, but at the same time, it shouldn't be downplayed... _______________

ASCN would have lost anyway with all the BoB slaves moving in straight after they took over a station. Why they needed the "we fight any way we can, be it villifying your leaders or selling TS login/pass in Jita local and all the other tactics)" for the ASCN war is still beyond me, took the fun out of fighting for a lot of the ASCN that just wanted a fair fight. Oh and ill save you the trouble by saying: Proof or STFU

I'm sure former-ASCN don't want an apology from a gutless little worm like you. People like you is more a reason of why they lost than any help BoB got from the devs. Also before you call me a BoB fan, I honestly have no great like for them at all, and think the whole t20 episode is a total disgrace.

However and I am sure its been said before: all this talk of BPOs is short sighted and lacking in imagination. I don't think X number of BPOs shifts things, it's the implication that having a dev on the team gives a particular faction infilitrator access to in theory everything pertaining to the Eve game system. Including finding the X,Y,Z position fittings etc of ships and poses. The contents of chatchannels. The state of a particular node. Remember bookmarks and such are all stored server side so they are all suspect. Surely thats a no-brainer? In fact I think the DEV in giving the BPOs out felt he needed to be caught. If I was him I personally would of acquired the BPOs by watching the lottery winners and camping out the appropiate stations in game. Would of been clean and safer than what this dude did.
