A little early this post, but I heard a rumor that a lot of ASCN players have already booked their ticket. Well i'm definitely going this year. Could be some fireworks. I'm bringing a steadycam, too.

Closed the topic about T20, saying "We would like to thank everyone for their comments and voicing their concerns over these recent allegations. Translation: We gave you enought time to whine and we don't give a **** about all of you, so stop annoying us with those allegations and just play the damn game. And I had a very nice time, chatting with Bobbits and ASCNs alike. We must not forget that this is a game! If you take the game out from the game screen, you have lost. Always wanted to go to Iceland anyways.. Heh.. Read a book long ago from Tom Clancy called Red Storm Rising.. It was a Cold War WW3 'what if' book and very well written.. A good portion of the book was about how the soviets had invaded Iceland to secure the northern areas for themselves and take out the U.S. base that was there.. Clancy must have traveled there for first hand knowledge as his descriptions of the terrain conveyed a sense of stark beauty that has stuck with me quite a while.. So one day I used google earth to plot out the route the characters used in the book and took a little virtual tour.. They need a bit more high res coverage but it was neat nonetheless.. But nothing beats going there in person I suppose.. Do they rent cars in Iceland perchance? errm.. and sorry about the mothership craack.. guess it was a bit ill timed after thinnking about it..
