Some months ago was the last time I shot NPCs, I remember getting about 5 Dread guristas spawns (over space of a few days) not one droped any 'Dread' mods.
Today I come to NPC once again to raise sec status and I happen upon 2 Dread guristas spawns, 1 battlecruiser, 1 cruiser, neither dropped any 'Dread' mods
This is in Vale Of The Silent (0.0), now thats like 7 Dread spawns with no Dread mods, am I just unlucky?
Whats other peoples experience with Dread guristas spawns?

Seems pretty typical. I can remember seeing 8, maybe 10 dreads in the last few months... the only actual DG loot I've gotten has been a webber. The best loot I've gotten overall has been a low-grade Crystal Epsilon and a Gila blueprint. Did have a corpmate get a high-grade Crystal Epsilon from a dread once, but then this guy gets dreads on a daily basis.
Officer spawns seem to be the best source of DG loot, but gl finding them.

The other day my skill finished so I wanted to test out mytech2 large autocannons on some rats in a .4 system so i warp to a random belt and in the belt there is 1 dread guristas frigate, so i think what the hell and kill it. In the loot was a low-grade crystal elipson (goes for 70+mil) so it really depends on luck but some have a way to get faction spawns to respawn quicker by killing everything in the system.

Really does seem to be random. My last 3 DG spawns netted me a DG Invulnerability Field, DG Ballistic Control System and a DG Co-Processor. This is bar far the best loot I have ever had in 18 months in the game.
My corp mate though had more than 10 spawns and the best he looted was some DG ammo.
Random.
