I am returning to Eve after a few years and plan to focus on frigate PVP and fleeting... My question... What happened to the Rifter? |

The Rifter is akin to the homeless burnout who did too much acid following Blue Oyster Cult in his pussywagon. Tall jocks now shoulder check him on the street. He falls down hard, wincing in pain. Like warm Olde English 800. Close your eyes and drink it fast. I see now how things have grown up around the Rifter. It is a frigate with an interesting history after all these years. |

I know what you mean about the Rifter, right away it was my favorite ship so I trained for T2 Autocannons and it was a letdown. Luckily the Thrasher is pretty cool I did the SoE arc with that and it's not a bad choice in PvP situations.

I once tanked a very large room in a level 4 mission in a Rifter many years ago.
If in real life I had a hangar full of all the ships in Eve the one that I would take out to cruise around and pick up chicks in would be my Rifter. I love that ship. It's got: guns, missiles, speed and all the sexy that you could possibly want. |
