Maybe watch the video Wave of mutilation once more and rethink that. oh dear. flaming away at ppls posts without thinking it through. neutron mega despite what ppl say can tank ok and with PG rigs can tank pretty well firstly. and how do u know that 'poorly fitted ratter' u say might have had 5 stabs fitted for all u know. also damps on a CNR? i would think the hyp with 8 neutrons and 3 mag stabs would rank fairly high on the t1 non faction ships tbh. also the eos and astarte are pretty high up there.not sure on the exact number 1 tho but it would depend if ur meaning with faction,officer,deadspace etc mods and ships or just t2. DE

It is not able to tank and tackle at the same time anyway, so why jump in one's range and risk beeing killed when i can sit at a comfortable range and kill the target slow but certain? Think about it yourself. DPS is not the point if you can reduce the enemy's dps to zero. But that's another story that doesn't belong in this thread. Just don't compare caldari ships to any dps ships as that is clearly not their strength. - I got a portrait now, wheeeee! \o/

Eos is too much skills to train to use but I'm sure would rival for top spot. Vindicator and Macheriel are too expensive. So I would use a Blasterthron, Domi, Brutix or Myrmidon but it aint all about raw d.p.s. For a seriously sexy looking gun ship try the Hurricane. Cheap, nice dmg bonuses, looks like a dark elven serrated blade. Beeeeeautiful!

QUickfit does funny stuff, I have never had enough Estamelle to actually try it out for myself, not to mention I am roughly 79.8B shy of buying a Corvus. From intial testing with Quikcfit it seems as though Tech 2 launcher WITH tech 2 ammo > Estamelle. I'll try run the numbers again after lunch break. My point was more that the 600 DPS above from a Raven is a far cry from what a CNR CAN do with max gank. The 1285 + 315 from drones = 1600 which IS reasonable for a missile boat. Granted you prob spend 20b in fitting...but you ARE flying a 80B ship so I think that is reasonable!

Domi 3rd. Typhoon 4th. Geddon 5th. Tempest 6th. Raven 7th. Apoc 8th. Scorp The raven has low DPS but is the only ship that can have a tank aswell as that gank. I cant remember the DPS i got from each of them but i think the mega was about 1400 and the domi wasn't far behind at about 1350.
