Max skills aswell) I;ve only included BS so i think some smaller ships would knock the lower BS of the list. I should think the raven, apoc and scorp would all be out DPSed by a deimos, and command ships may be able to out-do the tempest (roughly 1150 DPS).
1st. Mega 2nd. Domi 3rd. Typhoon 4th. Geddon 5th. Tempest 6th. Raven 7th. Apoc 8th. Scorp
The raven has low DPS but is the only ship that can have a tank aswell as that gank. I cant remember the DPS i got from each of them but i think the mega was about 1400 and the domi wasn't far behind at about 1350.
Is this pre tier3 battleships? Because if we are going back in time, I fought a gankageddon that did 2000 DPS on the test server... It was on test server because it was full of dark blood EVERYTHING... Pity the fool |

Phoon clocks in at 1200 raw DPS on quickfit for me with all relevant skills (gunnery, missiles, drones) maxxed. (4x 800mm autocannon II, 4x siege launcher II).
Abaddon and Geddon do significantly less. (But are much shorter to train for.)

Yes agreed, I have a vindy that does insane dps. But look at the hyperion again, same slots with more cpu and grid. Maxed skills, a few rigs to free some slots up for other **** lig plates etc, and some implants can dish out alot of dps. I neutron t2 with a 11 or higher dam mod is scary, but I dont think many can get that high, I can if I spend lots of isk and totally rig and mod out a thron or hyp.

Now that I've answered your question, please buy that fitting and fight me so I can loot it for free.
*edit* - yea, using unique ships, it would be Fedathron > Hyperion > Storm > *** Perhaps the Storm is ahead of the Hyperion. The storm does more DPS with the guns, but dunno if it's enough for the 3x heavy + 2x medium vs 2x heavy, 2x medium 1x small drones.
A couple trillion isk and some damn good luck on finding those yes I agree lol. Most expensive loss on a bs lol..bummer. But agree, and no t2 ammo with minus attributes would be GREAT!!!!!

T2 fitted Hyperion will give more DPS than the mega cause it has 8 turrets and a damage bonus to the Megathron's 7.

This is pre tier 3 BS and without faction, i was surprised that the geddon did less dps aswell, but i did use 5x Ogre IIs, 8x Heat Sink IIs (stacking penalty was stupid but it was the only way to get more DPS from it) and 7x Mega Pulse IIs so it was the most DPS i could get. I should think use faction guns/ammo/damage mods would push the DPS up, but it can be said for all the ships so it doesn't make a difference when comparing DPS.
The typhoon does so much damage because since it has a split weapon system, i went 3 and 4 on the damage mods, thus they didn't stack as poorly and so gave a better overall boost to the DPS, making the phoon better DPS wise. I'm not surprised the tempest got over 1000 DPS because it has a duble damage bonus, and a full layout of high slots (6x 800mm AC IIs, 2x Siege Launcher IIs).
All tests were done on the hull of a phoenix at the optimal ranges of the ships, with 0ms transversal.

I did a DPS test on the new quickfit and got 1582 DPS on a fed mega, with 8x Neut Blaster IIs, void, 8x cormack's magstabs, and a hybrid ROF rig II (can only fit one on and no others because of calibration power).
Using officer guns and faction ammo would push the DPS up probably but quickfit doesn't have faction ammo

I would but it would take ages to write and would bore everyone to tears. I basically used full T2 main weapon systems on all the ships, full t2 damage mods on the lows, and as many t2 drones as i could squeeze in. If a ship used more than 1 weapon system i played around with the damage mods until i got the best DPS.
I used quickfit as my database.

Im not too sure about that to be honest. I know this thread is purely for dps but im gonna talk about the hyp vs the mega a sec.
The hyperion may have an extra gun but with less lows to fit the same tank as a mega you lose 1 damage mod. Also it has 1 less heavy drone and 37.5% worse tracking. I would say them three factors will beat the dps of a single gun.

Edited by: Talthrus on 14/02/2007 01:02:37 I suggest you guys don't rely on QuickFit for DPS calculations. It's DPS calc for my geddon at least is FUBAR.
Calculating on my own: MegaPulse IIs / Large Spec at 4 Damage: 7.367851 ROF: 2.95 Crystal: Conflag [56 dmg]
56 * 7.367851 * 7 = 2 888.19759 2 888.19759 / 2.95 = 979.050031
That is not including the 5 Ogre IIs, which probably do a good 250 extra DPS.
This brings our grand total to 1230 DPS.
Quick fit claims my setup (7x Megapulse II / 8x Heat Sink II) does 753.4 DPS. I think it's fair to say it's a bit off.
I suspect the calculations for the Typhoon are off in the other direction as well (I am guessing its missile DPS is too high). A Typhoon with 4 guns and 4 launchers should not be out DPSing a complete gank geddon.
