I'w been running missions for about 2 years now. and the incomme has been good.
Now:
I'm looking into getting me a Avatar (amarr class titan) to make it go abit faster. I hear you can wipe a entire fleet with them in 1 shott, with the doomsday device.
so.. Now im looking into getting one, and iw been thinking how to fitt it.
here is what i got so far:
High:
3x salvag mods
3x Tractor beams
1x Doomsday device
1x cloak (doing missions in 0.4 is risky, lost a navyraven to some pirates probing me out)
Mid:
3x sensorboosters t2 and the rest cap recharger t2's
Lov:
2x capital armor repair's
2x eanm t2,
1x dcu t2
nanofibers in the rest of the slotts. (need some speed obviously)
Will the tank be good enough to tank an entire lvl 4 mission complex? or should i go for active hardeners?
My real problem is i dont know where to gett one, iw been looking through the contracts and markets in about every region in empire.
I know they exists, as i'w seen screenshotts and movies of them.
any advice please?

lol, u'll need to do at least 10 lvl4 mission just to pay for fuel that doomsdays device costs u for one charge:)
ohh, and titan will cost u around 60bil if not more..

DD is overpowered though , 1 guy shouldnt be able to wipe out most of a fleet with a cyno alt.
i thought they were meant to need support

Trying to be half serious  , does anyone know if you can put cyno up in a deadspace area? If so, I suppose you could clear whole level 4 or complex levels with it

not really. most fleet bs fit multiple 1600 plates or shield extenders so they can actually survive a DD hit.

As far as I know, you cannot set up a Cyno in a deadspace area. Even if you could, the cost of fuel to set off the DDD would outweigh the rewards, unless you were using it in the final stages of a 10/10 complex.

On the off chance this is a serious post:
The cost of running missions is going to by far outstrip the profit gained from said missions. I am guessing you were planning on parking the titan in a SS or something, then dropping a cyno in a deadspace with an alt, then popping off the DDD? I don't see how you would do it any other way to be honest. I am almost certain that the titan istelf cannot use the jumpgates to get into the mission (maybe im wrong here?). So say you have your cyno alt in a nice tanked up ship jump into the deadspace, the drop the cyno, then you unleash the DDD. So now you get to sit around and wait for the timer to run out so you can use the DDD in the next room of the mission. In all, I just see this as being an exercise in futility, you will be spending more ISK on fuel to detonate your dooms day device and jumping around systems to get to the mission location, that you will not be able to keep it up and will run out of ISK really damn fast.

While there are a few missions that are 1 room with only the initial spawn, the vast majority of missions have multiple rooms or waves of rats, which will require additional detonations of the doomsday thingamabob, which has a pretty lengthy 'cooldown' time IIRC.

You would need to mission for another 15 years or so just for the items needed for building and then enter alliance for pos purposes. Then lose it all to a blob cause an alliance member saw you were building one (cough lv cough)

As they cannot be docked, they can't be put on the in-game market. The alliances will destroy anyone who starts selling them in trade forum or other public channel, look at what happened to TRUST.

Firstly I assume this post to be a joke.
Secondly, if it is serious, then remember that missions deadspaces do not allow cyno's and a Titan cannot use missions gates.
What about soloing lvl4 courier missions? Well, you cannot dock so that theory is out of the window. The only practical, though not cost effective way is to jumpdrive freightors filled with lvl4 courier mission gear. And thats about it to be honest.

you might want to consider dark blood ENAM's, and shadow serp sensor boostaz aswell as officer cap rechargers,
you also want atleast a dread guristas cloak ,less cpu and less calibration time.

Even if this wasnt a joke, which it obviously has to be. It would never work for the simple reason that you cant open a cynofield in a deadspace. As such you can never fire the doomsday weapon.

That eye of zimermnan mission or whatever has no deadspace and is fairly hard... you can keep rejecting till you get it... and do it once per hour.
Course the DD fire is more than the reward...
