My want is to someday operate the battleships of the Caldari, Gallente, Minmatar or Amarr.
It's a long training road for sure but then at the end of it all, you have the pick of the litter of any class of ship from battleship down.
That is my long term Eve goal, a lot of time and training, but I'm sticking to it

There's one really cool thingie about lasers - once fitted with crystals, you don't need to puschase additional ammo for your guns, ever! (Unless you somehow manage to lose the ones you've bought earlier). Laser users never stand a danger of running out of ammo in the midst of combat :D - as long as Tech1 ammo is concerned, tech2 is another thing.
I'm Amarr, i fly Amarrian ships and use Lasers :] And i love it. :D no matters what other people say about it. Just have fun of what you've chosen, don't let others to get on your way.

Actually the Gallente were busy with the Caldari at the time, so the Minmitar received no help from them during the uprising.
And the Jove didn't directly "help." The Ammar showed a major lack of military intelligence and foresight by attacking a unknown race immediately without any knowledge of what to expect out of them. This major tactical blunder
gave the Minmatar the oppertunity required to rise up.
Ammar = the best? Nah, individually on a 1vs1 basis, the Ammar empire's units were no match for the ferocity of which the Minmitar fought with during the rebellion, or the technology of the Jove. Seems quite odd that we would be calling ourselves better than everyone else if our empire is kind of like the zerg, needing to have a huge numerical advantage to even stand up to other races.
With their forces too divided to have the numerical advantage
that the Ammar required, it would come as no surprise that the Ammar were beaten as badly as we were.
Its kind of sad to think that the supposedly ignorant Minmatar were able to see this and not the self proclaimed "superior" Ammar.
Jove > All
However, currently the power of each of the four races' governmental military prowess is seemingly equal, hence why they are at a stalemate.
