Hello all,
New to EVE, and instantly noticed how terrible looking many corporation logos are. The way you graphically represent your corporation has a deep impact on recruitment and propaganda. Not to mention it makes your band of merry marauders look cool.
I'm offering full and custom logo design for any corporation in return for only 250 million ISK in game. You don't pay until you get (and love) the finished product!
Private message me with details of your corp, existing logos you want to replace, or simply outline some details of your corp (like name, purpose, alliance, etc)

Great idea. I do a little graphic design too so this would be great.
Unfortunately you can't import your own art and use it as a corp logo in-game. Alliances can, but I understand there is an approval process.
Correct me if I am wrong.

I suppose I will add to the list of requests for developers to add this feature. Would be a simple, but very satisfying addition to this amazing game. |

Yeah. Until there is a way to automatically screen out Photoshopped dickart en masse, we are stuck with the layered Crackerjack tattoos.

OP, you might want to put up a post in Sell Orders. A few people there offer not just alliance logos, but banners for corp/alliance websites, blogsites, podcast sites, etc. labtechwar over there kindly donated the banner for this EVE fiction contest.

Maybe simple if you only look at the technical side of things. But as I understand it, CCP doesn't want a bunch of silly, juvenile stuff in their dark and gritty space sandbox, and they do not want to risk copyright issues. So, every icon has to be approved by them manually, which would be a lot of work, were every one man alt-corp in the game to submit it's own logo.
That's why there's an approval process as well as a few restrictions in place: It needs to be an Alliance, it needs to have existed for long enough (3 months I believe) and it needs to have a minimum of players in it (250 I believe).
You can of course go ahead and suggest it, but I don't think you'd be heard. With the game being as old as it is, I would bet this has been suggested a couple of times already as well - after all, having a unique logo is pretty cool. |
