The Durandal Organization will be setting negative standings towards the Phoenix Wing Corporation.
We are not friends of the Star Fraction, but we can agree on the idiocy of NBSI organizations. The idea that Phoenix Wing could continue to support the ideals of the Federation while flying alongside a NBSI 0.0 organization is laughable. In my eyes you are traitors and hypocrites who would trade the Federation for a bag full of ochre.
Although Durandal forces will engage Phoenix Wing, we will not be wasting the isk on a bunch of greed obsessed individuals. You have thrown your lot in with a NBSI entity and as such will receive the same treatment from us.
See you in space.

"we support and defend the ideals of the federation, as we have and always will."
Help me out here: how does joining a pirate alliance that frequently camps the Orvolle - PF-346 pipe defend the ideals of the Federation? Or did we all misunderstand you, and you are talking about a Federation beside the Gallente one?
Honestly, guys, I am very disappointed in what I thought was the most principled pro-Gallente Federation combat organisation.

The Phoenix Wing have come to represent everything that is wrong the Federation today. They waxed lyrical about defending the Federation but in the end it was nothing but empty rhetoric. They gladly exchanged liberty, justice and freedom to the whims of megalomaniacal, despotic, bandit kings.
The Federation cannot be defended with idealism and good intentions alone. It requires men and women with the courage and moral fortitude to fight for it. To fight against the tyranny in all its forms and incarnations. Just as those who came before us fought for the freedoms we now enjoy so must we.
The Phoenix Wing have now shown they lack any of these qualities and are nothing more than flip-flopping, Imperialist bootlicks.

Clearly the only logical solution to this terrible dilemma would be fighting to the death. Shame it had to come to that...
For the occasion I do have some silver spoons used only once by the Gallentean Senate, they should have the desired effects.
Good luck

Phoenix Wing to my knowledge doesn't claim to be NBSI. They are in Alektorophobia, and live with those who are NBSI. You'd have to ask a Phoenix Wing representative to be sure of their standings.
Alektorophobia to my knowledge doesn't share Phoenix Wing's philosophy. They are NBSI, I don't know if they claim to be, but they are. We've seen them sitting on gates shooting anything that comes through, including a few of our members. Once again, to be sure you'd need to contact a representative of Alekorophobia.
I don't make the the distinction between being a corp in a NBSI alliance and the NBSI alliance as a whole. If they don't want to be called NBSI, then they shouldn't have joined a NBSI alliance.
To use you in another example, during Star Fraction's war with Cyrene, many of the Cyrene corps weren't pro-Federation. This didn't stop you from lumping them in with the rest of Cyrene until they made the distinction and left the alliance. I'm not criticizing your actions, just making a comparison. Those non-Federation corporations had no place in an alliance that espoused being pro-Federation. This isn't to say that they didn't fight bravely, but its clear that they were attacked and judged on alliance affiliation. Likewise, I render the same judgement on Phoenix Wing.
If they're not NBSI fine, but then they don't belong in a NBSI alliance. If Alektorophobia is no longer NBSI, then they need to announce it as such. Until then, however, I will continue to judge Phoenix Wing on their alliance. You can't expect to not be judged with who you associate and distance yourself when it becomes inconvenient.

Actually, I was just pardoning myself for your thread. The questions were directed towards Phoenix Wing. My writing was not clear, but thanks for your input.
I would debate your your characterizations of Cyrene as incorrect but that is besides the point and not constructive to the topic you had started. It has been stated before in other threads as well. This is about Pheonix Wing, not Star Fraction.

Actually, we tried serious dialogue prior to your decision to formalise the alliance. We warned your leadership that membership in Alektrophobia was not consistent with support for the Federation. Moreover, we advised him that because of their actions in space bordering the Federation, joining the alliance would signify a change in our relations.
Your leadership chose to disregard our statements and Riaz acted accordingly. Why should the privacy of dialogue matter, however, unless you sought to hide from the cluster your decision to abandon the Federation in favour of an NBSI/pirate alliance?

You all squabble on the Galnet, with big words and no action. Just as has happened with the socalled Guild. Save CYI, who we still, and always will hold in high esteem.
Your organization is currently fighting over control of a given system in the Syndicate region according to our intel. Are you claiming you will let anyone use it as they please if you succeed? If so I will notify our industrial contacts, as I remember it to have ample quantities of Dark Ochre from my time living there as part of Valiant Logistics Inc.
Or are you a blithering hyppocrite, and will want to keep it to yourself, doing just what you accuse us of?
Currently we are fighting the pirates of the Ronin Alliance, besides allies and friends, who understand the need of action, not words, to limit the real pirates roaming Outer Ring and Northern Syndicate. Unfortunately, collateral damage is part of any conflict.
It amuses me when your friends use quotes such as The users of GalNet know who I am.
If that is all they have to show, then little value is to be found in them.
Finally, we are very much still working along the main ideal of the Federation. Individual Prosperity.

I have the honor of flying aside Phoneix Wing and I have not seen them act on any matter that would tarnish there support of the Federation. If you are without sins, do fire the first rounds, if not do what you feel is right and support your cause how you can and allow others do to there part.If the Federation is unable to work with any but those who share the exact ideals and is unable to compromise, It will fall. I refuse to beleive that this is the situation with such a mighty entity. Think past your small part. History tells us if you are unable to adapt you are doomed.

If we were to succeed in wresting control of said system away from NBSI forces, then yes it would be a free system. No hypocrisy there, just the truth. Calling it intel is amusing to me. I openly told your people about it to see if you were interested in aiding us. By all means, contact your industrialist friends, contact anyone you'd like. I know my people would love to see some friendly non-NBSI folks in the area.
As to what you have done? We're well aware of all that you've achieved and struggled for. It only makes the fact that you'd throw it all way to join some bandit kingdom on the fringe of civilized space more tragic. We held Phoenix Wing with the utmost respect and modeled ourselves after you in the beginning.
Yes, we haven't done much, but we our young, give us a little time. I'm sure Intaki Union will come to call sometime, they always do. I can claim only three wars in Durandal's history, all three against pirates. Certainly not as illustrious a history as Phoenix Wing, but I've never claimed it to be.
You're fighting RONIN, one NBSI entity in another NBSI entity. These squabbles are typical of 0.0 bandit kingdoms, so I don't see why you feel the need to attach romantic ideals to it. That said, I hope all you NBSI followers have much luck killing each other.
Finally, to the person who said we claimed to speak for the whole Federation, we don't make any such claim. No where in this entire thread have we claimed to speak for the Federation, but only ourselves. It is in our eyes the Phoenix Wing have abandoned Gallente ideals, and it will be our forces who will engage them when we see them, not the Gallente Navy.
Now then, perhaps you're done personally attacking Durandal and can address the issue itself?

We are not in the habit of "calling" on small industrial corps that run around in placid and syndicate to make isk. that is what syndicate is about after all, survival in the wilds for the strong and the bold.
If you make your self an enemy of Intaki Union we will not simply "call" you on it, we will destroy you. As it is i can't think of a single reason why you'd draw out interest, in fact your are neutral to us and really if you were serious about being in syndicate you could even send me a mail and I'm sure we could help you.

This really is such a shame.
Here we have two perfectly respectable groups vowing to attack the other over interpretations of the same ideal they both seem to support.
I really would urge caution to both groups over the words they exchange with eachother here as those could do more damage to long term relations than any interactions in space are likely to.
To be perfectly frank with the pilots of both groups I would dare say shifting yourselves to a Kill On Site policy with respect to the other is bordering on childish. Certainly some negative standings would be appropriate but to move all the way from neutral to mortal enemies is a bit extreme.
Personally I am a strong proponent of allowing actions to set policies rather than statements. What this means is that I think both groups should step back from each other and evaluate eachothers actions before engaging in combat over policies that are still speculative.
All that being said I too cannot claim to be a fan of NBSI policies and would be saddened to see The Wing addopt them.

Well Mr. Bliss, to put it quite frankly, an attack from Intaki Union has become a sort of right of fire to a pro-Federation corporation. You've sought out conflict against all the pro-Fed corps that have been around for any length of time, Phoenix Wing, Cyrene, others that are now gone.
I know you through one of your wars with Cyrene. I'm ex-Cyrene, though of one of the less notable corporations, and fought against Intaki Uninon during my first two months of my piloting career. If my memory is correct, I even had a duel with you, resulting in my first cruiser loss in a war.
We don't need you to legitimize ourselves, and we definitely don't want or need your help in our affairs.

Right of Fire? Well true many of them fail, in fact none have succeeded and only two have survived in a much weaker form and they have done that by abandoning Federation space or hiding and running under the skirts of a different group all together.
But no, we donÆt just attack people because they express an ideal, it is when they try to push that ideal on others or when they **** us off and need a reminder that their words have consequences. Something you should remember. We arenÆt malicious but we do tend to defend our own interests.

Huh, if that was the war just before this one I killed something like 46 ships to no losses. Sorry if I donÆt remember you in the crowd of corpses and wreckage. This war I only got like 20+ kills to my name and I lost a typhoon, I remember the pilots better but even then donÆt expect me to remember everyone. If you are red, you are dead. Apparently you do feel the need to be legitimate, and that Intaki Union should somehow help provide that. When maybe you do something for the Federation youÆll go on the hit list, but then thatÆs up to Phantomas. He decides the moves for the Movement and he decides who is a threat to the Movement. I just shoot what he tells me too.
And not to cast aspersions on your capabilities but our help could do nothing but good for an organization like Durandal appears to be.
If Phoenix Wing is ganking your pilots you are really far down on the predatory scale. No offence per-say to Phoenix Wing intended but they arenÆt top line fighters so how far are you down on the scale of capability to exert your influence? DonÆt expect to be even considered a target of our effort until you at least make a name and effect change.
