The short of it yes, I'm willing to see FIX destroyed if it means sticking by our allies. My personal view is that any alliance that isn't willing to do likewise isn't worth the ink they used to write their name down.

If it comes to pass that everyone else is dead, and FIX stands alone, then it means that FIX has to deal with what it faces by itself. That may mean making peace, it may mean dying, but to bail on our allies before that happens means we're not who we claim to be.

That is the true motivation, not that we'll let FIX die for someone else's benefit, but that we'd rather FIX die than give up on our beliefs on how we should conduct our own actions in Eve.

Avernus, you pay BoB to use Que region right?? You are willing to die for them? Die for ppl that you have to pay to be friends with? You don't like ppl calling you pets and slaves and whatnot but a statement like this reinforces all that.

You should have risen against BoB in the begining of the conflict, who knows maybe the allies would have let you keep couple of costelation in Que that you could have really called your own... Seems you just gonna be colateral damage now.

Food for thought. Possible situations:

a) FIX is a pet alliance that BoB demeans each day and mocks for their failure to keep their own space against CODA.

b) FIX is a partner alliance to BoB. FIX don't pay nothing, but the conquerable stations belong to BoB. FIX is free to build their own stations and peruse them.

Does anyone think 1000+ people would stick around if a) were the case?

Each alliance is populated by people like you and me, and people are not idiots. What is possible is that their leader is an idiot.

Avernus, however, proved time and time again that he is no idiot. I think it's b).
