after seeing the title of this Thread, and thinking "wait.... that makes no sense!" I realized that Jove might be pronounced like Joe-v, instead of how I normally pronounce it, Jovi (yes, as in Bon Jovi )
How does everyone else pronounce it? -----------------------------------------------

It's " jōv ". Not exactly as in "love" (lŭv), but closer to "move" (mūv) but with an "o" not "u" _ MySkills | Module/Rig stacknerfing explained |

Jovian is a word that comes from latin and means.. from jupiter. So Since the ones form Jove are called Jovians I use the same pronunciation as the latin word from one from jupiter.

nice idea but generally false. Modern people dont know, how the latin language has to be pronounciated and the current rules are just somewhat made up.

Not true. People in the Catholic church have been speaking Latin continuously for some 1500 years, with no breaks. They know how to pronounce Latin just as much as I know how to pronounce English --------

J.O.V.E ... I say it out letter by letter, as it's an acronym rather than a word.

Jovians are Only Veldspar Excavators.
It's one of those recursive acronyms, like GNU.

Not true. People in the Catholic church have been speaking Latin continuously for some 1500 years, with no breaks. They know how to pronounce Latin just as much as I know how to pronounce English
and also the fact that half the word has latin based languages that have common pronunciations :)

Not entirely sure why, but I've always read it as "Yo-ve" (as in, rhyming with 'stove').
I never was any good at latin based languages, Germanic ones on the other hand...

Oh this is fun. The many ways of pronouncing the same word.
Personally I have always gone with the standard 'latin' pronunciation, ryming with 'stove' with the J pronounced as in 'Joy', 'Just', 'Judge' etc, which I guess is what the OP means by Joe-v
Using a germanic pronunciation, I would think it would be Yo-va.
The Jovi one I've never heard of before, and the mexican Hoevay I like
