Quote:Ishukone-Raata Announcement: Operational Restructuring
>> Lonetrek Region >> Sela Constellation | Malkalen Solar System >> Malkalen V - Moon 1 - Ishukone Corporation Factory | Ishukone-Raata Administrative Headquarters
The following is a press release regarding details about the recent and upcoming administration restructuring of I-RED:
I-RED for many years operated on funding provided through a contract with Ishukone Corporation. Following the passing of Otro Gariushi, however, the contract eventually expired and while it was renegotiated with Ishukone, funding was slowly reduced. Despite this, funds were still funneling in through private investors as well as operations from the alliance itself. Largely successful campaigns were run in various regions including Placid and Syndicate. The most recent campaign in Black Rise appeared more checkered. The volatile and unstable nature of the faction warfare system discouraged many investors from continuing their funding. As a result, cuts in both personnel and assets were made to compensate for the loss in overall funding. This, combined with a decline in new capsuleer membership has led to a crossroads.
In the past, I-RED has adapted to new situations to thrive the best it could. And so, we shall.
Former Vice-Admiral Katrina Oniseki has acquired a sizable chunk of I-RED military assets. The most notable of these assets are the Internal Watch guard which she founded while in I-RED. Her new corporation Oniseki-Raata Internal Watch has joined up with the Arataka Research Consortium, but maintains good standings with I-RED. We thank her for her service and wish her luck in her new ventures.
With these changes Admiral John Revenent will be resigning as Executor of I-RED, but will remain as a retainer, advisor and primary point of contact for various contracts and miscellaneous affairs. Alex Hinkelmann will be the acting Executor until a more suitable replacement is found.
The primary corporation in the alliance, Revenent Defence Corporation, is currently in the process of fully relocating to the Syndicate region. Here, RDC will continue to uphold the values of free trade and anti-piracy it always held except now it will no longer officially be under the Ishukone banner. RDC will now act as a private contractor for security and military objectives in the Syndicate region for both the Intaki Syndicate and Ishukone-Raata.
I-REDGÇÖs focus as a whole will turn to light policing action in Ishukone operational areas. Moreover, there will be an emphasis toward economic initiatives & infrastructure development.
To our long-time supporters, remaining investors and allies, weGÇÖd like to reinforce that this is not the end of I-RED. I-RED will never fold as an organization so long as the ideals we uphold continue to be put into action. We are simply adapting to the changing tides of time. We look forward to entering this new phase, and welcome you to join us.

I would like to express my personal thanks to former executor John Revenent for all his work with the Enforcement Directive. Having played a very small part during the later Syndicate days, I'll always fondly remember the comraderie and dedication to service Ishuk-Raata personnel shared.
I-RED's withdrawal from public affairs saddens me, but the Arataka Research Consortium welcomes Oniseki-Charantes-haani and her corporation gladly and with hope for our future collaborations.
Fair winds, Revenent-haan. We shall be in touch, and our shared duty shall be continued.

Responsibilities, burdens, etc etc.
A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

It is a pity to see I-RED... reduced, shall we say. Nothing earth shattering, but a pity nonetheless. Allow me to occasionally wax nostalgic about stable pillars of New Eden turning out to be not quite so solid as they appeared. Capsuleers fickle loyalties being what they are, and all. |

You apparently didn't find I-RED to be all that stable if this move was "unsurprising" to you. Also there is really nothing to pity. I-RED will continue to persevere and endure as it always has. We are simply shifting priorities. |

Why don't I just tell you where I keep the keys to my house, and the location of my explicit Archuran schoolgirl magazine collection while I'm at it. |

That would be a incorrect assumption.
