hi am a 21 mil sp character and mostly pvp.am having fun with gellante battlecruisers at the mo having just got bc to 5.
i can see the natural progression from this is command ships.
my question is this,with my skills and playing style(up close and personal),would the astarte be a viable solo or small gang pvp ship.can it tackle well enough aswell as do good dps?
any advise from astarte pilots would be gratefully received.

id prefer EOS more for solo close pvp

yes 100% worth training for. good tank. 4 slots for tackling which is great. much higher scan res than bs and the ship has the potential to be 1 of the highest dps ships in game.

astarte makes u pilot with big balls and lack of brains

No doubt, i fly both Astarte and Eos and i don't regret the time invest to train it.
Both ships are very good , good dps, good for small gang or large fleet with the gang modules, good for ratting, missioning ext.. basicaly anything you want to do !
The only draw back is that if you loose it, it's full defficit for your wallet as the insurance is not working well on those..

Astarte rocks. BS firepower with faster lock and more agility/speed. Eos is so flexible and versatile, it's just awesome.

ofc... i cant fly em yet (nerf the leadership skills :D) but i have been in gangs and on the wrong side of the guns of a astarte a few times... impressive ships :)
eos rocks allso :)

Astarte will most likely be available to you sooner, but the Eos is better. Not that it matters because the Astarte is also awesome. Effective solo and even better in a gang

The astarte is awesome. Unfortunately mine was in one fight whcih was me vs 5 BS. Did I mention I killed one?
