I actually think the original poster talked some sense. Smack on the fourms and you look like an idiot.
- Bob have stopped their torrent of forum smack which makes them look good compared to when they post.
- RA don't post much and that makes them look good.
- D2, and a number of others on the coalition, have enough idiots smacking to overwhelm the good impression made by their saner posters.
- LV members posts, with a few notable exceptions, seem to be far gone in a haze of hatred and bitterness.
- Bob renter mostly smack and make themselves look stupid.
But that doesn't mean not posting is the way to make yourself look good - posting sense is even better than not posting. A few examples:
- Fix are showing great restraint while being constantly abused and I now have a great deal of respect for them
- MC manage their forum posting well and gain respect.
- MM and some other northern powers showed, and earned, respect during their fight vs MC - though their hatred of Bob leads to some ott posts now.
- The new territories coalition showed class when fighting Fatal - as did Fatal.
- The Goons ban members, except the BE, from posting most of the time and so avoid shooting themselves in the foot constantly.
You can manage your forum interventions successfully a whole variety of ways but the key seems to be to manage them rather than allow every bitter member to post their hatred.
Everyone agrees CAOD is a cess pit but most seem to forget/ignore they can do something about it. Control your members posting and not only will you help make CAOD a better place but you will probably earn you some respect. Keep posting smack and you, even if only in a small way, are helping your enemy.

You folks *do* know that BoB's lack of posting on the forums hasn't changed them at all, right, and that it's a calculated attempt to make people like them more? When you say "I like BoB, now, since they don't post on the forums", you're basically playing right into their hands.

as far as this being an alt corp, no not really. Long ago when freighters were introduced I did make isk by building, selling, and hauling with them. The name I thought was rather comical and amusing to say the least.
Regarding posting w/ this char vs. another, is due to my work internet restrictions. If I'm logged in as one char, I can't click logout and switch char, because for some reason my work blocks that login screen. So I had to post with the only char I had available to me.
Do not worry, I have never tried to hide behind an alt, as it may seem. Hell if you flamers want more ammo, my main is bsspewer.
PS. XTrinity might remember me from those days if you want to double check my facts.
