Haha. Wow. For a second there I thought the station actually got conquered, until I read "with a defense of only one frigate...", then I knew it was a lie. Nice one though haha! ---------

Originally by: Katharina Gorbacheva After long planning, today we launched our attack on BOB's core system, we engaged their T1 defence force of only 4 ships, and claimed their alleged HQ station, The Alamo. In any case, it was a short and decisive blow.
Wins: 1 HQ station Losses: 1 frigate

Enjoy!
Dont get over excited about conquering NOL. If BoB only had 4 ships nearbye and not defending it is because they have a reason for it. Remember BOB is not an alliance that takes claim to territories then defends them. Normally local citizens that get assimulated into the BOB machine defend space like Slackars Industries did a while back in the NOL area... Trust me this is a nice victory but nothing more...

Edited by: Jane Spondogolo on 22/02/2007 11:10:40 Hold the fort brothers! Noobwaffe applauds this tactical use of frigate class warships, and one day we too shall be planting the can high upon the pile of BOB's smelly corpses.
Until that day brothers, back to the veld for us!

Has anyone tried this:
Get in a gang and have 1 member warp from one point to another, like between 2 highly frequented gates. Then while that member is in warp, have the other guy warp to him. There, place a warp bubble, which should drop anyone passing through out of warp in the middle of the system. Then have a dictor pop their bubble on top of them (have a dictor waiting at either end of the bubble, either end being coming from the 2 locations that the bubble is between).
a little complex, but they won't be gating anywhere if it works.

Bubble has to be on same grid as the warp exit

first off, u can just make a mid warp SS with a bookmark, and second : WTS clue. bubbles only work on grid of warp out, and they have been working like that since forever. think befor u post

intel reports the defenders have already anchored a medium can and reclaimed..? advertising rights ?
this is an alarming trend , sure to result in endless can ping-pong. the price of secure cans has already doubled , with no end in sight.
A 0.0 alliance has subtley hinted that they have a secure can bpo , but this as yet is an unfounded rumor. if true , however , it could change the face of can spamming forever and ruin eve.

What is the response, if any, from the major alliances? Have they been prudent enough to understand the ever changing face of EvE warfare, or have they grown complacent behind thier fleets of capital ships and Titans.
In such dangerous times one can ill afford to allow the "can gap" to widen.
