I can see a big stink if its not coming today. Although nothing unexpected.

This just appeared on the news:
Quote: Just to keep you updated, we are working fevereshly on testing the new patch, commonly called Castor. It will be deployed as soon as we consider it healthy enough. We will have a special downtime for the update so you don't need to wait for the next scheduled downtime. And as with large patches, expect a bumpy ride the next couple of days - so be careful out there ;-)
Can¦t really figure out what they mean though. Does it mean that the patch is going to come today and they¦ll do a special downtime for it or does it mean that they¦ll put it up soon(tm) eg in a few days or something?
Bit confused here but actually I¦m not that concerned since I¦m a patient person and can¦t play until later today anyway

I am not sure the wait begins, it is more the wait continues.
The community has waited a long time for this patch, looks like we get to wait a bit longer. ---------------- There are no bugs just locked threads |

I updated the post with the following for clarification:

It hasn't been delayed yet. We are modifying some features that are based on requests by players testing on chaos. You can read more about these in the Patch Review Forum.
I'm sure you want these changes tested as much as possible _____________________________ I say hey sky, s'other say I won say, I pray to J I get the same ol' same ol. |

Edited by: Ermenegildo Zenya on 15/12/2003 12:27:45 Bosh, it's so childish... It's the same every time when a patch is coming - several times of extending downtime due to the difficulties - I understand that they can occur - but please be reasonable and estimate any real time - Can't u see what SOONÖ or any other "not accurate" dates are doing to the people - treat us like real CLIENTS - not baddies - Now, that statement not only is one too late - duplicating previous situations but also inacurate... damn I wish PR and CS was better in CCP... I can wait those few more days but don't treat us like dummies to make us wait with beating Heart during every downtime for that Castor! -"OMG in next 50 mins I will play Castor... [5 mins later] ...no I won't" We aren't kids [in bigger mayority] to allow anyone to play with us this way - Respect is EVERYTHING. Gosh, start being MATURE in what u r saying... or I will start thinking that CS is mostly occupied by 10y.o. kiddies... One more time - this post is not against DEV Team - I'd like CS team either to be replaced with reasonable people or to be tought finally how to treat their clients properly...

They said the patch was going to come on Monday. They did NOT say:
"The patch will come on monday during downtime."
OR
"The patch will come on monday at xx:xx O' clock."
