So here I am in high-sec and I get to a gate in my newly T1 fitted Rupture which I had just thrown together to help a friend with a mission. Low and behold, there's a pod sitting at the gate. The guy's got a negative security standing and a 10 mil bounty! I lock him, he doesn't move.
I consider opening up on him with my guns and missiles, but since I'm on my way to help a friend, I decide to go on my way and let him live.
The loss of the ship to Concorde would have been nothing to me, and I would have profited in the end with the bounty, but I just didn't want to lose the time having to go and get a new ship while my friend was waiting. Still, I can't help but feel, I should have popped him! Incidentally, helping my friend on his level 4 turned out to be quite profitable anyway.

Quite a few times before Warp To 0, I'd be flying a shuttle or something through empire and see some outlaw pod happily slowboating its way to a gate in highsec while people all round just pass it by. Of course a lot of those times I did have guns and so the guy got an express ride (hi Fuglife  ).
If a pod is flashing red and there's no green or blue icon on it then there is NO reason at all not to splat it.

if he wasnt flashy red, the 10 mil bounty wouldnt have been worth the -1.5 or so sec loss you would get from podding him.

Well, it was in high security and he was not a red flashy. I could have afforded the sec hit (I'm at 4.5) and the isk was inconsequential either way. I just didn't really have the time to go and get and outfit another ship at that moment. Still, I never collected a bounty before and was very tempted.

I don't mean to be rude, but why post this?, It's all up to you whether you want to pod a guy.. But IMHO (and yes its an opinion, something everyone is free to express), your post is worthless an not even worth mentioning....

Sheesh, I was just curious about other peoples opinions about something that, for me at least, does not happen very often (at all). You didn't have to resond if you felt my post is so worthless, but I guess everyone likes to get their little pound of flesh.
