Edited by: Reiaandra Ilin on 17/02/2007 03:13:52 ôHa!ö the lynx like woman laughed as she sped past her foe cutting his belt and revealing his heart printed boxers. The shocked look on the manÆs face was as good as any kill could have been. She clicked her sword as she twitched her wrist to flick her thumb along one of her pointed I-teeth as she smiled*****ily.
ôIÆll be taking my gold back now unless you want me to cut something else besides your beltàö
She was amazing. A pirate like no other. A deadly beauty with cunning, intelligence, and skill to make even the most dreaded swashbucklerÆs fear her.
The Silent Ocean Wind: glorious and graceful but as quick to turn as the black tides themselves. SheÆd send you to the bottom of the sea as quick as any squall. She was something to be feared. That doesnÆt matter though.
Shes dead now.
ôWell, maybe she isnÆt dead. Maybe she never existed at all. How do we even know earth existed?ö the young Achur girl said to her mother.
Even if she didnÆt believe them they still drove her dreams. She dreamt of the great pirate ships of old. Epic battles and great adventures dominated her fantasies.
She yearned, just like those sailors of earth to be near to the stars.
She was not meant to be a pilot. Her parents made that very clear. She eventually wore them down. They made her join the School of Applied Knowledge but it did not matter.
She was going to be a pod pilot.
If that great woman had ever existed, she knew that she would be smiling down on her from beyond the veil of blackness and bright lights.
She lay in bed the last night before she left and she listened to the wind.
Many thoughts came flooding back to her. Mainly the stories of her beautiful ancestor for whom she and her family seemed named. Their surname Ilin for their lithe cat-like appearances and mannerisms. And her first name: Reiaaandra. A word as old as the stories. Its meaning was the elemental name for wind.
Sleep brought the weight of titans upon her eyelids. She started to drift off.
I wonder if Names prophecy oneÆs life?
always talking about prophecy in true Achur style.

Thank you all for your kind welcomes.
Zoolkhan, perhaps a trade of stories better than spirits?
Spirits are just passing delights, while stories can sustain us through the most beleaguering travels through lawless space.
