Race Results: The Forge The final race of the State circuit took place in The Forge region this weekend, where many of the veteran and rookie racers alike wore determined faces for top standings and valuable league points. Dragonstar team captain Kayleigh Jamieson kept relative newcomer and racing sensation Nakatre Read on her toes throughout the race, maintaining visual line of sight and finishing seconds behind her. Meanwhile, a similar battle for third place between Endless Night's Queen bee Loras Forsythe and rising star Jacque Custeau ended with the rascally Sebeistor inching ahead and securing the forward position. Steph Wing brought home a modest fifth place for himself and Eve University while JumpDrive Inc's rekcuT J vowed to return after his Vigil was disintegrated by Guristas pirates in Otanuomi.
Here are the results for this week's race:
1 - Nakatre Read [URIEL] - Rifter (00:32:16) 2 - Kayleigh Jamieson [DS] - Rifter (00:32:30) 3 - Jacque Custeau [KOMR] - Vigil (00:32:54) 4 - Loras Forsythe [ENDL] - Vigil (00:33:15) 5 - Steph Wing [E-UNI] - Executioner (00:38:24) 6 - Kazuo Ishugiro - Vigil (00:49:29) DNF - rekcuT J [JUMPD] - Vigil (n/a)

I would like to apologise to all concerned for taking so long to finish. I knew I was doing quite badly, but not that badly.
I've worked out a few improvements to my general strategy, and I expect to do better next time.

Exciting race, I knew I was nervous for a reason. Only 14 seconds inbetween the top 3...

Only 14 seconds between you and me, my dear. 38 seconds inbetween the top 3. Which still shows just how exciting this race was. Maybe next time I will finally catch you, darling
Kay.

I believe I got off to a good start, but it was not long before I was more concerned with Loras catching up than I was with getting into 2nd place.
I understand the next circuit will take us to the Republic. I can't wait to see how I will perform on home ground. ------------------- |
