Actually this post reminds me of the old Eve Radio Army - get a punch of frigs and rookie ships (alts, new players, whatever) and go attack a camp/blob and see what you could kill for a night.
Whatever happened to it?
I have the body of a supermodel. I just can't remember where I left it.

I'd sign up if you weren't going after BoB. Not that I like them or anything. I think they stink for what they've done. Along with all the others who are guilty as hell.
We'd all be better off if we ignored them and departed whatever system they show up in.
Long before they capture all of 0.0 without a fight, BoB, CCP and white wolf will be thoroughly pappering their kecks.
Entertaining them with fights, and getting people playing Eve is hardly an appropriate response to what they've done, is it? Less Eve is the proper response until CCP feel enough pressure to bring there own proper response.

Edited by: Torrin Milaian on 19/02/2007 18:50:45 Just an update for everyone while I have a moment to post:
Yes, you may join! There's an office in Hatakani 8 Concord (hq- please set a clone here, but know that we might be moving the hq elsewhere) and the Genolution Station in Enderalein (sp?). More offices tonight.
I've had to come to the realization that we are not immediately going to go after bob. That would be like building a model rocket and threatening to nuke China with it. While it would be amusing, it's probably not a feasable option.
So. To recap:
Yes you may join. I prefer to keep it very low level alts, but if you feel that you have something to bring to the NoobWaffe, then by all means. As a general rule, I probably won't be training all of my skills to Torrin, but over time he won't be quite a noob anymore. (We'll just have to start up "Sort-of-experienced-waffe" at that time)
I'll be placing more offices around the universe tonight and trying to come up with a logistics plan. We're going to need some miners as well as fighters. It's a tough bullet to bite, but it's there none the less.
I'd like to point out that support has been rolling in, so far, we've recieved 7 frigates, ISK donations (Even Romeo gave 0.10 isk), and even someone willing to build us some rifters. I think it's awesome that players in the community want to help out. I really sort of expected that we'd get a lot of flak and be forced to give up, but it's all sort of starting to come together into something real.
I will be on TQ tonight to process applications and do some recruiting, and I'd say that we'll have to have a formal op or something tomorrow, even if it's just to shoot at eachother. I'll also be coming up with an official recruitment thread as well. Until then, please bump this as much as possible, and get out on TQ to spread the word!!! The Noobwaffe |

Might I suggest kestrels? 4x standard launchers, 20km scrams, BCU's...a swarm of them will do a lot of damage, and can stay out of smartbomb range. Just my two cents.

Again, I'd like to thank everyone who's been donating! I managed to pick up 20 Atrons tonight for 800k, and a few frigate bpo's. We're up to 5 people, with offers out on about 5 more! This is really picking up steam and becomming serious.
Where should our next office be? What is a good, high traffic location close to a low sec gate? Any suggestions? The Noobwaffe |

Hello again everyone!
Just a brief announcement while I have time to post. Maybe a few rules would be in order. Don't worry, they aren't bad ones!
1. Your Noobwaffe 'guy' should be a seperate entity than your playing account-- We don't aim to become the next greatest thing. Just something fun and spontaneous! A reactionary (or instigatory- is that a word?) force that can immediately deploy as a fleet from a central location. Not something you devote all your time to. I will be publishing meet up times and all info later on. Coordination is a key to making this work, due to the nature of the setup.
2. Please don't involve your main, unless you want to donate (semi-anonymously. All donations are processed the same- everyone gets a thank you. Eve is just so political that the fighting between alliances makes it nearly impossible to cooperate fully. As a sidenote to this, please do not even tell us (or anyone) who your alt even is. Again, this is due to politics.
3. Politics... We're not here to politic. Yes, we have the baseline that we're anti-bob. No, we're not territorial. We have no interest in owning any piece of the universe. We are, however interested in sharing it. If anyone wouldn't mind us hanging around, we'd appreciate it. Like I said in number one, it's not expected that this will be our full time gig.
Anything else will come as I think of it, but so far, so good. The more simple we keep this, the better off we will be. I've been picking up frigates, blasters, railguns, ammo and bpo's in the past day or so. I try to get to every application we get, and so far I've only had to turn down one (he named his alt). I'll be available for chat tonight and parts of tomorrow. Please feel free to contact me ingame. I will also be setting up a public channel.

We've begun to build/order frigates. Within the next week or so we should have enough for everyone. We've also been growing daily. With the influx, I thought that we should be doing an op soon. If you'd like to join in on the fun, just apply by saturday.
I've been buying bpo's as well.

If anyone has either a large supply of minerals, or a bunch of cash for buying them, for this little newbie adventure, I'd be interested in talking. I've purchased some baseline frigate bpo's , rifer, kestrel, punisher and incursus, and it'd be nice to also get some bpos for a bunch of basic t1 frig mods.
The main catch at the moment is minerals. We are in 0.9 space at the moment, and we really need about 30-50mil worth of minerals ot hit that initial target of 100 frigates we'll need to keep newbies in free frigates. Mining all that in a #*@#$ industrial with a single Miner II is horribly slow. An osprey could do it in 1/3 of the time, but this way is afk.
Giev bucks, make newbs have spaceship.

The most effective frigate i've come across is a maulus with a few drones and sensor damps. Fit rails in the highs and stay at range while your target screams in terror and your drones eat him alive. 30 of these in group is almost an exploit. Throw a few executioners or kestrels in the mix as tacklers, and you have a nice cheap lowsec gank fleet.
My favorite cruisers for cheap gank squads are: Arbitrators, Celestises, and Vexors in that order. Use the Gallente special ops charachter and train up a bit of drone interfacing. you'll have an out of the box drone swarm fleet of doom. Just don't forget to pack a few sensor damps and tracking disruptors.
Also, get a TS server. It will help you to organize your ops much more efficiently.

Brilliant, no frig only gang should leave home without 1/5 ECM/damps, the maulus is good out to 60km and is rediculously easy to fit stuff on, the griphin is also very powerful but has cap issues... still these 2 should be mainstays of the fleet...
Most frigs are usefull in some way atrons and slashers to tackle rifter, incursus, kessie (damage but slow and weak... needs to warp in once something is tackled or camp off the gate), tristan etc are good for damage and can kill suprisingly strong foes.
Damps combined with web/scram tacklers (some of you will have to get close... at least you wont take as much damage...)
Making weapons is an option but placing mass buy orders in noob mission running systems yields a good result too...
If you need some experienced alts let me know...

Kaboose isn't really a industrial alt as in building things, I should have called him a hauler alt. Alliance wars make moving stuff dangerous.
I wont be on with this char much and I don't really want to get my main involved or connected to this kind of thing but I do want to blow things up and try and help out.
Who should i message in game once i create my new noobwafe alt?

out of interest, why bob? personal grudge or jsut because everyone complains about them? They act no different from any other big alliance, they are just better at it. You'd have more luck with some of the crappy southern alliances.
