Might want to state if you mean solo, or with tacklers.. It's pretty relevant.

Atm i'm flying
7 heavy launchers
3 l extender, 1 invul, 10mn mwd, 1 warp disruptor
2 pdu + 2 bcu
Main purpose of the mwd is to make the ship more fun to fly =), and orbit 15-20km or so.
or 7 heavy launchers
3 l extender, 2 invul, 10mn mwd
2 shield power relay and 2 bcu

passive tank != PVP. Unless you plan on just fighting 1v1's against AF's, and then you will still probably lose more than you win against them. Against another BC, you will go down in flames.
Gotta go active tank with the drake in PvP.

No way its asking for passive tank with its resistance although not as good as a ferox it can still work well for ya and the extra two launchers more than make up for it.
7 heavy named launcher
3 large named extenders
1 invun field
20km Scram
Lows
4 shield rechargers
or swap 1 or two out for pdu and swap invun field for large booster.
I tanked a sleipner and a arazu for 2 minutes and a half minutes and they didnt even get my shield below 15 % before help arrived.

I disagree. While I am not saying that passive>active or the opposite, what you say is simply not true. A good passive tank on a drake is scary. I know I have tanked an entire wolfpack of 7 frigs/AF/inties for the time it takes to slowboat the 15km to the gate while being webbed to 10m/sec. I would have taken some down as well but I was at all times jammed by a falcon. They did not attack all at once (they came and went to avoid drones, etc), but even so suffice it to say I reached the gate at 80-85% shields. You draw your own conclusions. While I don't like to post my setups, it was non-faction, non-tech2, and rigged to hell and back.

How is the ferox's tank better than a drake's?
Where is the drake's 6th mid slot?

1x Medium Shield Boost
1x Sensor Booster
1x Inv Field
Lows
2xBCS
1x Stab
1x CPU Enhancer
Is something wrong with this setup? Any opinions?

I've been playing eve for just a bit more than 6 months but haven't done much PVP. Bad idea to equip stabs?

Stabs were relatively ok pre-nerf, but I don't know any of my mates fitting a stab when going pvping... |
