The ISS Marginis Corporation Assets (KDF-GY and ZIX-C stations) were conquered by IAC alliance. There is no probability of their recapture in the near future. This removes the dividend revenue of ISSMO shares. In order to soften the effect on investors, ISS is willing to offer an exchange rate of 4 ISSMO shares for 1 ISSO share. This will continue to deliver 50% of the average return for ISSMO shareholders monthly. The basis of this offer is: The ISSMO becomes the propertly of ISSO shareholders.
Share Exchange After the vote is complete The exchange will be accepted until 10 Mar 2007. Exchange your shares by convoing Serenity Steele, then transferring the shares. Do not just send shares without being in convo first.
[b]Vote[b] You need to vote as to whether you accept or reject this offer. (Right-click on your shares, choose: vote).

You can trade them on EGSE. Mixed Batches of shares will also be accepted (eg. 2 ISSMO, 2 ISSBO : 1 ISSO] etc.

Thanks, I'm aware, we asked them to be frozen when the outposts were taken. Aaro'ne Erivale offered to reopen them again when the votes were placed. A few hours ago, I requested this happen, give it a few days I'd say.

Edited by: IntegralHellsing on 19/02/2007 01:39:57 (eh.. yeah i know i'm in NPC corp atm, but i have a corp to join in a few days so please don't delete this )
don't you think it's a bit ridiculous, offering 4:1 exchange rate?
as if people with shares have any choice to hold onto outpost corps' shares, but still i don't think 4:1 exchange rate is anywhere near what people expect.
yes, the profit is reduced a lot, but still it's your fault for the capture and closure of individual outposts so i do not think you can just go on and say 'ok, we're closing down the outpost corps and therefore anyone is welcome to exchange the shares to ISSO shares at 4:1 rate.'
anywhere between 1:1~3:1 might be ok, but 4:1? you're telling the initial investors to lose 75% of their investment. (that is IF ISSO and ISS*O shares were sold at same prices.)
who would invest in ISS if there's chance of getting only 25% of your money back?
anyways i'm too tired to bother writing more, but i think you should take the responsibility of losing the outposts and offer a more suitable exchange rate.
ps. still, a damn good thing that you decided to let people change the IPO into ISSO ones.

Hi IntegralHellsing
Quote: don't you think it's a bit ridiculous, offering 4:1 exchange rate?
No, otherwise ISS wouldn't have offered anything.
Quote: yes, the profit is reduced a lot, but still it's your fault for the capture and closure of individual outposts so i do not think you can just go on and say 'ok, we're closing down the outpost corps and therefore anyone is welcome to exchange the shares to ISSO shares at 4:1 rate.'
It wasn't a light decision by any means. ISS already expended many hours and resources to try and recapture the stations. The decision came from the choice of either continue wasting ISK on possibly (unlikely) recapturing the stations, or offer those resources to the investors.

Investors who exchange for the ISSO shares will end up with following ROI at date of exchange:
Quote: who would invest in ISS if there's chance of getting only 25% of your money back? anyways i'm too tired to bother writing more, but i think you should take the responsibility of losing the outposts and offer a more suitable exchange rate.
I guess there are a couple of factors people need to consider in future IPOs: 1) ISS didn't steal/scam ISK from investors, depsite handling now 400bn+ 2) ISS learnt a lot more lessons in IPOs and managing literaly 100+ corps than most. 3) ISS does not intend on space-based assets with long-term return again.
ps. still, a damn good thing that you decided to let people change the IPO into ISSO ones.

Does this have any effect on ISSO shares? Will dividends still be the guaranteed 5%?

We're the ones taking a hit, through depriciation of our shares. ...
The ISSO shareholders are not taking a hit, as the ISS Alliance is using pre-ISSO IPO funds incl. liquidating non-producing assets to effectively buy the more ISSO shares.

Are you going to be online any time soon? Sounds nice this share exchange, but if you don't log on, it's kind of hard to convo you to arrange the exchange...
