Viva le F1end. I remember reading your first reports right after you guys started, they always put a smile on my face. Eventually I got to fly with you guys in ATROX, and that was fun as well. Good luck to all ex members, and remember to fly deadly :D.

No surprises there, belt piracy has been devoid of profitability for a long time and general profitability in lowsec has been declining for even longer.

Those times in Amamake were fun indeed, attacking all we can find around, be it pirats, anti pies, people passing through, locals etc. I remember that friday night where we were attacked by a 30 men gang from CHIMP, a lot of them in BS and even that guy in a carrier, vs 10 of us in T1 frig, after we tried to pop one of their hauler pilots a few systems away.
A few months ago in Curse, I saw a guy who remembered me instantly Sanguine Legion, that was Angry23, that guy we used to kill at least once a day in Gulmorogod. I think he was pretty cool, considering the number of times we popped his *ss.
I remember also one of our first wardec by this corp ( i think one of their directors or CEO get caught in his own bubble in 0,0 and got killed by one of us.  . This idiot was camping Siseide gate in ammamake in his covops ship while we were slaughtering all we can find around, not caring about him at all.
And finally I remember you as a good man, someone who cares about his corpmates , I wish you all the best and thank you for leading the Sanguine Legion.

The Sanguine Legion... Where do I even begin. Everytime I engage in PVP, I have flashbacks of the great times we had in our infancy. I see how little the thrill I get now compares to those times when we were young, to the times when only a few of us could even fit a warp scrambler.
We went from new characters with no direction to feared and blood thirsty pirates. Nothing could break our spirit... the spirit of warriors with nothing to lose.
The first engagements changed us all. I remember when some of us questioned the morality of podding. My how quickly this changed... Just like sharks, when the blood started spilling in bigger quanities, we all went into a frenzy. Many people learned to fear a swarm of frigates who wanted nothing but the taste of blood.
Our first Battleship encounters were... amazing. I don't think I've ever seen anything so beautiful in eve as a dozen frigates doing a dance of death around a gargantuan, gleaming hull.
I will never forget that day when I caught a tempest, out of the corner of my eye, warping to a belt right as we came into a system. As we came out of warp on top of the tempest, I could feel the beating of every members heart, pulsating through my speakers. This was the fight where a punisher and vexor (piloted by two beer and kebabs), jumped us mid battle with the tempest. I can still remember yelling FOCUS FIRE ON THE TEMPEST, ITS GOING DOWN! Without fear of these new found threats, each member continued to peck at the giant. After the tempest was destroyed, with fire in our eyes and a bloodlust never seen before, we ripped through the vexor and punisher with ease.
Leading the Sanguine Legion into battle in its early days is something I will never forget. The unwavering loyalty you all had in the decisions I made will never be forgotten. Although I was soon to be jokingly referred to as the 'suicidal leader', (which may or may not have anything to do with that GODS Sniper camp I gang-whiped us at  ), you still followed me to the death, and to some of our most famous kills.
May we never forget the legend of The Sanguine Legion, those brave pirates who defied the belief that only those with high SP can participate in, and become victorious in PVP. |

I was one of the first members of the legion and stayed with it for few weeks.. SOME OF THE BEST WEEKS IN MY EVE DAYS.. unfortunately my main began to be active again so had to leave... was always hoping the legion to be active longer so I could have a place I knew I could allays go to and have fun.
Its saddens me to see the legion close but due to game mechanics low sec piracy has gone way down. Hope you guys dont close down the Khanid channel :)

#Khanidblood will always be open, there's a bunch of new and old faces in there. Our forums are also staying open, some access has been restricted but that should be sorted in a week or so, gonna be a flood of NFWM material soon^TM.

Wow one of the last corps I thought I'd see disbanding at the moment....
GL to you guys wherever you may go and I've got nothing but respect for you guys, always loved the little skirmishes we had in Amamake and Placid.
Hopefully we'll fight again some day, and remember to NEVER fly safe.

I have never had a better time in Eve as I did with Sanguine Legion.
I'll be forever indebted to the rest of the troops for how much they taught me, not just about pvp but also being part of the team.
One of my fondest memories was my science project - were I got all my surplus isk together and put up a small pos. Was great craic for about a day, then became tedious.
Some chaps objected to it, and came and took it down, but it was a lot of fun all the same :)
I did not follow all my corp mates into aAa as there not entirely my style, but I hope to fly with them again.
If your missing me its because i have to play ufo aftermath and aftershock and then afterlife before playing some more Eve.
To the guys I aint seen online in a long time, if you ever read this, come back soon RN and HT.

its a shame to see ur disbanding. i remember reading about u lot on these forums when u first started up and then having a few skirmishes with u guys when i was in the frontier collective and u where raiding down the mannar pipe.
sanguine legion built up quite a characterful reputation for its self, hopefully one day another corp will follow in ur footsteps :)
