Is there any chance that you have some family ties with Miss Overlord?
Miss Overlord is an alt of Ollobrains, who happened to corp thieve me of 3.5 billion worth of assets (the entire alliance he used to lead can confirm this). Do you have some other incident of Miss Overlord scamming? Feel free to contact me in game.

Originally by: Kylania The act of looking at an escrow or Contract and checking if it's a scam is easy to verify and requires absolutely no measurable amount of time to enforce on the part of a responsible player.
There's no need to get CCP to punish people when the "victims" were too lazy, greedy, ignorant, naive or whatever in the first place and fell for the scam which was painfully easy to avoid.
As someone else already mentioned, the UI is not very friendly. I have never used contracts and I was thinking of buying items through contracts. One specific contract I looked at had "<Item> x2" in the title but in the contract details it had "<Item> x4". So which was the correct one? Which one did the player enter and which one is the actual items? I would assume the title is the player one but it doesn't make sense. Why would you enter x2 in the title when you are selling x4?
There should be a CLEAR INDICATION WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. The current UI is confusing and unclear for someone new to contracts. It should clearly state what information was entered by the seller and what information is generated by the system, ie information you can trust.
It just seems like the UI favors the scammer by confusing things. The responsibility is not all with the victim.

CCP has decided to make corporate theft, scamming, etc. legal by their definition so that they do not have to deal with the problems..
No, they make them legal because EVE is meant to be a dystopian universe full of crime and betrayal, scams are part of that.
Still, wish they'd take out private auctions, see those spammed about too often in the trade channels.

I got serveral scam s to. It nerfs pretty much, at least it is not possible to make real buisness, when every second Trade is a scam. I think the most known mails like this:
'll tell you about a trick to avoid any kind of tax sales on contracts and just pay the flat 10k isks broker fee. You just have to make the contract a private auction contract to my corp, The Perfect Business Plan. , put your 3.2bn as buyout and make sure to put the starting bid at 0, since this is where the .5% tax is calculated, Heck, put 3.3bn buyout, i really feel sorry for yesterday and will claim it as soon as you mail me the link to that contract back.
This is a fact and real getting Mail isd .so no harrasment or whateever to snip or delete... this is the position of this ...
Mails like this i get often now in serveral variants.
When i set back the Item s i had offered before... u get titled as a scammer or not seroius cos u "trying" to set overpriced items and fake offers to push up the prices... (greetings to hellwarrior and his army of kidding alts )
well i think there is not realy much u can do right now before CCP will not do something against it.
Delete this mails.... ( i love dots ) Try trading again or save your items. Start auctions....
If ppls try scamming ppls with lying about game mechanics and possible bugs on them saving isks , they had to set something against it. Cos it can kick his market strucure at least the game fun.
Scammers are allways in every game.. at least the numbers of them and the numbers of the nerfed and scammed community will show if this ???? has future.
my personal minds.
