Greetings and salutations
Well now it's seems to be my turn to put in my 2 cents on this subject and a few opinions as well, i am sure Temujin Destovai, Joshua Calvert, and shrike, will in there opinion find my ideas and notions disagreeable, but thats quite alright by me,i believe others have a right to express their opinions, so having said that i'll express my opinions.
Now my grief is with Evolution, not stain or curse, any group, alliance, or corp that advocates unrestricted warfare on any or all non-combantants is just being lasy,had you asked we were fighting against the curse alliance in the CFS/CA war so why would we be aiding curse? i was in fact the reason curse placed my corp on the kos list for the killing of 2 scorpions from the curse alliance, but curse alliance informed my corp of this before unrestricted warfare was waged, and i for one after talking to the leadership of the Curse alliance found them affable and polite and reasonable, and while we dissagreed we choose to be adult and mature, which is more than i can say for the few from evolution i have had dealings with. Now shrike may take offense to this as his ego is massive by anyones standard but i tend to find massive ego's fun to deflate after all this is a game and if you get all pompus and full of your self then your just asking for it LOL.
but history teaches us urestricted warfare tends to draw into it more than you want it to, in the first world war it caused the americans to enter the war against the central powers and in the end greatly aiding to there defeat and laying the groundwork for the second world war.
the funny thing is there are no real pirates in eve, i think the term hoods, punks, or my favorite "goons" best describe any corp that allows such low brow activities but claims it is all in the name of war is just fooling themselves and no one else.
So while Evolution may think it's wearing this robe of legality, think again, what Diet Dew did was just opertunity piracy nothing less and for no greater reason than his greed, and the facts speak plainly for them selves, and no amount of blustering, bravado, bullying or name calling can whitewash such a cowardly act and no amount of good spin can make this look proper.
So now i've had my say and evolution can go back to lying to themselves and others that they stand for truth, honor, and integrity, and commit random acts of piracy all in the name of war.
