I want to run a battlecruiser a few jumps through Hi-sec. I am -10. I know all I'm going to be contending with is faction police, so I want to know how to avoid them. I know they scramble and web, but does anyone know how many points they get on you? can you just fit a bunch of stabs and move fast to get away from them? Or would going for ultrafast align time work better? Anyone?

Use an i-stabbed cruiser of choice, works if youa re quick enough to hit the 'jump' button.
All you need to worry about is getting to warp before da police' scramblificates you.

He said he wants to run a BC. Small and fast is not an option. Personally, I would try i-stabs and maybe WCS on the test server to see if it works. MWD might work as well. Maybe you can get away from them.

It all seems to be random to me. I get shot in 1.0 systems with my sec status, and the only thing that ever worked 100% of the time was a shuttle. I tried it in a t1 hauler frig - the probe, and with two iStabs, Evasive V and spaceship command V they still managed to instalock, web and scram before I even fully got out of cloak.

It's random tbh - when I was -10 I ran through hi sec lots of times in a shuttle no problems, did the same in a crow a few times - then got caught and popped by faction police in a nano'd crow one time (before istabs came out)
You'd be brave to try in a BC - don't put anything expensive on it :) |
