i have read complaints about the blueprints allready. i am nowhere near my home base to check on mine. but what i do know is this...the only thing new on the market is some skills, and the useless microwarp drives. i fly an armageddon, which with my skills, at stock speed flys 127...now my microwarp 1, i have now makes my ship fly 133, while expending tons of energy. whats the point? now i saw some ore skills on the market...which look pretty kewl, but wheres the elite frigate skills, and the elite frigates? wheres the cloaking devices? where are all these things we we told we would have and now dont? and lastley...wernt we told we could choose at what range we warp into a gate at? 20..30..40..50 etc? where is that option? im tellin ya..warping in at 40km with a micro warp that makes me go only 6 points faster is not making me happy. i would apprechiate a professional response to this. Because honestly, we were promised things that havnt happened. thankyou...Tushani

Tech Level 2 is purely player manufactured. This means that all TL2 must be manufactured by players and sold to other players, but not by NPCs. In order to do that you will need TL2 blueprints, that you can obtain through research activity using research agents. Expect to see TL2 content popping up on the market as soon as the first manufacturing corps get a blueprint and start to produce it and/or sell copies.

Firstly, use paragraphs...most people wont bother reading it.
Now your problem is that your using a frigate sized mwd, and not a bs one. There are 3 types now, 1 meganewton, 10 and 100. You need a 100 one.
Elite frigate skill is not a seperate one, you just need a high lvl in a normal frigate skill.
As for the warp in range selection, its there. When you hold the cursor over warp, a side menu appears with the different ranges.

Then make your post in a proffessional manner, because atm, its all over the place:)

thankyou for the replys..i will trust that to fly an elite amarr frig i will need at the most frigate 5. but it was stated before that there would be seperate skills for those. the only other bummer was that my mwd 1 was turned into a crap one even though fitted on a bs. i hope some new stuff gets out soon.

In one word... Yes.
The new patch is a total bomb on many fronts and I have already cancelled my account. After playing 6 days of EVE, mind you.
How this new turn of events will draw in more subscribers is something I don't see...

Yeah adding some challenge to the game was needed, but this is simply absurd, too fast, and too soon. I forsee quite a few people giving up and quitting the game.

I thought I would be tepid about the patch. Starting to explore again, and it feels like a brand new world out there. Maybe travel time is longer now, since you have to be 2.5km from a gate rather than 8km. But I don't have to travel 20 to 40 jumps to engage a Jug, when I can engage them 5 jumps away.
I thought the NPCs in EVE has become too easy and has become mere targets. Suddenly they're kicking ass. I got jumped by a 45k Sansha Juggernaut and 3 20k Ravishers just five to six jumps from the newbie system, leaving my Bellicose a fleeing smoking wreck---the same system where days ago, all I engage was just 4K Slavehunters.
Wow what fun! This is what EVE should have been, kicking ass from the beginning.
In all of my short gaming life (but enough to span quite a few games) I've never seen any company that listened to concerns and suggestions from the player base then act upon them not afraid to take risks. I know the patch is still a work in progress and some agent missions need fixing.
But I really like the way the game has opened new possibilities, including a fix to PvP and much more challenging PvE, and I all I can raise is THUMBS UP!

Yes, I'll be cancelling because of MWD issue. Is nothing sacred?

People complaining about MWD/AB nerf and how it affects travel time, did any of you notice you now warp 50% faster, combine this with a required MWD for your ship and overall travell is much faster?

OMG your gonna cancel your account over the patch has been out for less than a day. This game wasn't designed to be beaten in an hour.
Quit complaining about the stupid MWD. Wait till you get a Tech 2 version. And a Tech 2 ship. And all tech2 gear on it, with tech2 skills.
Broaden your perspective a bit before just giving up.
I agree it may be alot more difficult than before, but think of what you need to do to adapt and overcome.
This game is all about survival of the fittest.
The old npcs are still in the game. In the empire in other places.
We are no longer the Uber power in Eve. I like that idea very much.

Come on Sarena - where is your fighting spirit? You don't want to give up at the first hurdle do you? Surely life is about change and learning to adapt to it. You can deal with a silly MWD nerf - we all can.

If you check eve-db, you will see that the elite frigates require a combination of skills, such as Amarr Frigate 5 and Caldari Frigate 3, for example, rather than a separate skill.
